But what a lot of people are ignoring is that this whole situation came to be because of politicians on both sides fanned the tension to the point where all this shit happened. When Sarath Fonseka was the Army Commander for 4 years, more than 600 of Army men & women were court martialed by him and they were treated like dirt..

More than 200 cases were filed against him in the Supreme Court & in the High Courts by soldiers and officers challenging his atrocities and he has failed to act in almost all cases according to the Supreme Court judgements. 40 cases arestill pending against him in the High Courts as well as in the Supreme Court. .
