Hey Kara, I have to agree with you that YouTube is a bit agressive but what the blogs say is that they are catering to the "interntional" rules of other countries, since YouTube is cross border. We even have an account warning, but on the other hand, its easy for us, as we own trademarks to remove videos ourselves if we judge it to violate our TM. However we never use it except when vids are copied or stolen from our websites.
My god, I've been offline for awhile, and I know I'm late, and glad that everything has been resolved, but how can they push back something with such high educational content, and allow some of these ridiculous videos with nothing but inappropriate content in with no problem. All of my videos have been removed also, I am not sure if Youtube removed them, or someone hacked my account, but all of my videos were about How To videos with like makeup and stuff. So i do not understand how my videos got deleted but if you tube did it, I was not sent anything telling me why
Incorrect, YouTube is not a private entity. They are a corporation and the only reason that corporations exist is to protect the people who own the company.
Further more, a corporation is not immune from a lawsuit, a corporation is set up so that the directors are protected from a lawsuit. But a corporation takes on the traits of a real person and therefore can be sued in a court of law.

I've noticed this type of 'guilty, period.' policy some of these social networking sites are taking on; Facebook for example can suspend your account - which they did to me by mistake - and not provide any contact information, or any way to appeal this IN ADDITION to not providing a reason why you have been suspended. Not even on its own site should a company be allowed to censor 'unfavorable' content unless it is intended as malicious.

i am thoroughly appauled with youtube. all of your videos are educational and respectful in content. i have seen many videos that are highly offensive that are floating around youtube that have not been removed. i am disgusted that youtube has violated your rights and failed to warn you prior to removing your videos. whats really important about your videos is that a lot of the content that you provide is not discussed in sex ed. i have learned a lot from you and absolutely livid with youtube

I dare anyone to watch any of your videos and come out saying they did not learn anything, rather it be about sex, a product or themselves. There is a fine line between explicit material and education, and confusing or even remotely comparing the two is ignorance and unacceptable carelessness.

I just signed, 1076! This is ridiculous! YouTube moderators should be fired! Kara is a pretty rare phenomenon because she takes time out of her life to educate people about things we should ALL know and take seriously. I am 100% convinced that every single person that has at least watched a few videos has learned something new or was shocked to realize something they thought they knew about sex was wrong.

You Tube, please respect the thousands of persons that are trying to get information on their sexual health. Kara Sutra is a most valuable contributor to sex education and defendor of women and men's rights. There is no other way to diminish std's and hiv transmission, as well as overall discrimination and everything negative related to everyone's sexual and personal life, than information.
