At most the Ady was idling forward, but it's fundamentally illogical to say that that made the accident the Ady's fault, watch the whaler in the several seconds preceding impact, you will see it list hard to port, that's because it is turning hard to starboard right into the Ady. And like I said before, it doesn't even matter if the Ady were moving because even then it would have had the right of way.

The Ady absolutely had right of way, a stationary vessel ALWAYS has right of way. Furthermore, the whaler turned to starboard, hit the Ady and then turned back. As if that were not enough, even if the Ady were moving it would still have had the right of way because it was off the starboard side of the whaler. I don't even know how it's possible to come to the conclusion that it was not the Japaneses' fault, it's not even negligence, it was malicious.

How do we dare? "Captain" Paul Watson is crazy. Ramming other vessels have been a well known strategy from him. I don't know why the Japanese vessel yawed, could just as well be normal movement in the waves, as an intentional manoeuvre! What, however, is not to be doubted is that the Ady Gil increased it's speed forward the last 25-30 seconds before impact. keep in mind the point of views of the cameras, ie the larger footage, if its moving perpendicular to the shot then it will look like the ship is turning, but given the distance the ship would have to be movin fast. So call me whatever u want its just something to keep in mind

Moreover, on several vids I have faved to my page, it is clear that the whalers always seem to retaliate against protest boats by firing powerful WATER CANONS right at the protesters.

Look at the orientation of the Ady Gil. At first it is pointing right, then seems to turn pointing more towards the camera. This is because the Bob Barker is moving forward.

Look how the Shonan rolls. Like a cyclist it rolls in the direction of the turn.

Seems the ady gil's capt. started making head way across the shanon's bow, in answer to the shonan's course change to collision.

then i see a course change by the shonan capt, at the point of no return into the bow of the ady gil.
