@fnx0808 Exactly! Michelangelo travelled to its cathedral to study Signorelli's frescoes before commencing his work on the Sistine. Time for some wine, oil and calabrese.
Excellent! You got it right on! Just returned from Rome,Orvieto,Assisi, etc. I need to play this video every once in a while to recapture the spell of Italy.
Thank you for this most charming compilation of photos. I was fortunate enough to visit Italia this past summer...the trip of a lifetime...and fell in love with Tuscany. I sit here misty-eyed as these beautiful panoramas unfold gently before me, lost in their beauty and the beauty of the music. Mille grazie per tutti!
Fantastic!.. I too hope to see Tuscany soon. It has always been in my heart to Visit Italy. I can't wait to see it and maybe rent a motorcycle and tour the country, have some wine and cheese with the local people. (Dapro)
I love Italy and am visiting Tuscany for the first time in September - thank you for this excellent introduction to the region - it is a beautiful video so well edited with an excellent choice of music.
Even though I live near where Tony Bennett left his heart, I think I left MY heart in Italy where I hope to return one day and retrace the steps my late stepfather took when he served as a combat photographer in the second World War. I published his memoir and trying to get it published nationally and made into a major motion picture starring Kevin Kline and Emma Thompson. When it's a success, then I can return to my true love -- Italy, at its finest!
Make it a nice, long visit, and don't just focus on Tuscany! Also, be prepared to lose your heart there! Italy is magnificent, but there's a lot more to it than just Tuscany. Try to learn some Italian before you go, such as basic phrases and numbers.
Beautiful scenery - reminds me of when I lived near Florence as a child - hope to return one day. I miss the gelato and flavorful cuisine. Your video makes me feel like I am there! Thanks for the journey!
I've been ruined for life. I just don't really care for ice cream and coffee unless they're around Firenze or else somewhere in Italy. I hope you get back there, and can stay awhile.

Nice video, thank you.
The first song is Lamento di Federico, sung by Andrea Bocelli, but who is the second singer, sounds like a young Pavarotti ?
