You can't lose all of your data as long as it's stored onto an SD card. I have all of my DSiWare copied onto an extra SD card I own. Overall, the DSi is a great system and it has some great features that most people forget about.

@RandomKillingMachine you cant play games right off the card you must have them stored into the system first so you have to go to settings then data management, from there i think you can download them into the dsi only if you have enough memory in your system

music is easy, just go to dsi sound, card and you should see all of the songs listed only if they are in aac format (not mp3)

yea i think i would say get one if you have the first ds, or no ds at all and your thinking about getting one, but im am disappointed about battery life but ill have my charger on me most of the time and a car charger, i cant wait tell mine arrives, i got super mario bro's and brain age 2 and some accessorys like a case a usb to be able to use a sd card

i recommend the DS Lite because it's GameBoy Advance compatible. Unlike the DSi. It just has camera, music, and internet.

you dont have to but them from scratch if you look in your settings you can transfer it to your sd card and when you get a new dsi or somthing put in the sd card go to settings and transfer it on that

The thing that turns me off on the DSi is the lack of GBA game slot...there are quite a few good GBA games out there that i have...to upgrade to the DSi means i have some titles i can no longer play.

As for the cam, eh..my cellphone cam is better, i don't really see the point in adding a cam to the DS.

For now though, i can't see myself parting with Final Fantasy VI Advance
