First of, Harry Potter is a great book with amazingly deep plot and twists that will keep you on the edge of you seat. First of, Harry Potter is a great book with amazingly deep plot and twists that will keep you on the edge of you seat. @XxquickpenxX Definitely Salem's Lot. And you have to try some of his short story collections, like Nightshift. I would also try IT, but be prepared for a long read. Just know that his stories are a slow burn. You have to take your time with them.

Well the fact that this is titled "stephen king doesnt know good literature" shows that you dont know good literature. Stephen king is right up there with the greatest novelists of all time. I personally think twilight is a terrific story and it has a good sense of originality about it, but i dont like the way the author (meyer) tells her story.I agree Stephanie meyer cannot write compared to other great writers, thats basically what Mr king is trying to say.

I myself am a 15 year old girl who has read every book in the Twilight series and I have also read various Stephen King novels, my favourite being The Mist. I think that Twihards, Twilighters, and Twimoms should be featured in Stephens next novel. None of them surviving of course;)

Notice how all the comments have excess exclamation marks, question marks, and capitol letters. They also place the letter 'z' after a lot of words like people. Stephen King is an amazing writer! I read alot of his book and really they have tons of details yeah but you get a better feel for it! And he actually has a big fanbase.....Oh my god Stephenie Meyer DOESN'T relate anything to vampires! Last I checked and read vampires don't sparkle!!! >.> If you want something that really relates to vampires read some books by L.J. Smith.
