He cheats a bit at the place where he has to jump over the broken bridge (09.30). He didn't have the hovering machine or whatsoever so he should had had to drive all the way to the start of the highway before the guys with hover car start to chase him. He probably edited it off. Anyway it would have taken like 30 seconds so no big deal.

I don't understand all of these, "You skip scenes therefore not legitimate," comments. The idea of a speedrun is to, y'know, run it as fast as possible, nevermind the scenes. Plus, the times of runs are considered for actual gameplay, not cutscenes/unavoidable scenes.

Of course he skipped scenes doofus, it's a speedrun, i.e. trying to set a record for fastest completion time no holds barred. If you want to watch the whole game played out in a normal fashion (which I usually prefer to be honest) then search for a Full Throttle LONGPLAY. But don't hate on a video for being what it is meant to be.

8 hours is 8 hours, regardless of what time it begins or ends at. Maybe you need to get more sleep yourself, to sharpen that keen intellect of yours.

Hehe no harm done. Sorry if I came off as snooty. Personally I'd prefer to go to bed early/get up early but I get myself into these odd sleep habits and have a hard time breaking them. Like I said, I still get plenty of sleep, it's just that the hours are all moved down later into the night and into the next day lol.

I'm unemployed at the moment though so my sleep schedule isn't a big deal to me right now, but when I was working I always made sure to get up on time.

Awesome video! Wow, i just love these Lucas Art's classic games. It's so nostalgic. The cozyness of these games are just so perfect. The atmosphere and everything. I am still playing this game once in a while, and i just love it :)!
