Saw these guys opening for GWAR in Orlando in '97. Got booed off stage. Which sucked for me, they were the only reason i went. could care less about GWAR.
@GlockisBeast2617 How the hell does a band like this get booed off stage? I saw them a few years back in Seattle in a small venue and they fucking rocked EVERYTHING! Then again, it was 97 and those at the GWAR show probably don't like industrial.
@GlockisBeast2617 Same thing happened when I saw them in '97. They played maybe 30 minutes, but I was so exhausted by the end of it I didn't even notice the shortness of the set.
@GlockisBeast2617 This is the version from Burnout... Bruised Regeneration and Drag-strip (which I prefer over Bruised) are both on Magnetic Field remixes and Suture.
Love the song. Our band had the pleasure of opening for these guys. Jared called us "fucking riotous", which I consider our best compliment ever. Thank you Chemlab.

Probably one of the best Chemlab songs of all time in my opinion. Its rare to find talented and aggressive and underrated heavy Industrial bands like Chemlab anymore. Chemlab is very underated and deserves way more credit.
When I hear this song it makes me want to jump in a muscle car and drive down a highway after dark sometime. Bury the speedometer needle and watch the road lines blur together. If there's lights over the road even better, you could watch them reflected in the hood of the car.
The industrial anthem that the scene was too coked up to notice. Chemlab remains on of the best bands in the industrial/ cold wave genre. Seeing them live is orgasmic.
expressive, not too much distorted vocals, raw heroic guitar riffs, funky synths and well designed electronic machine drum beats. chemlab's best album, it was a milestone...
The song feels deeply transgressive, like you need to take your chains and swing them in the face of those you feel are holding you back. It's a club somewhere in a back alley with sawdust-colored walls, speaker banks wherever possible with cords snaking out of them, strobe lights synced with the snare-drum rattle; a place where anger's free, talk is worthless, primal instincts embraced, and a glare over a drink is as common as the disillusioned regulars who come for their daily dose of sanity.
Absolutely love this song!! XD

Great Song...horrible remix. Original is better. This is the bruised regen mix. Original is on Burnout at the Hydrogen bar. MUCH BETTER!

This band feels like the heavy cousin of Cabaret Voltaire.

like those undistorted, charismatic vocals! sounds and voice set apart from typical 90s industrial-soup.

@Arabesquian this song was made in a bedroom somewhere in a suburb

@LivingOutOfSpite That's always the kicker for me, because I can't really see anybody doing that without disturbing the neighbors.
But man, thanks for the back story!
