  • nice

  • Yeah I missed 3rd (just got the car so not used to the shifter). I'm a bit better now :)

  • @UncleHumjaba hey there...could you tell me if this is the 1.8 liter 131hp? thanks

  • @kalimambo Yep the 1.8L in the 95 miata.

  • looks right dude, shift at 7000 to get best times, wont rlly hurt engine...they're meant to be revved. except when u shifted near 60 mph from 2nd to 3rd did u like slip the clutch?

  • @aekalexi12345677 +1 ive actually heard several times it's actually BETTER to rev up these engines. The valves can get sticky if you dont bring the RPM up alot. And the 95 already has stiffer springs than the earlier miatas. Also the rev limiter is set very conservativly. These engines can rev up to 8K all day as long as they have oil and the cooling system is working properly

  • @JD0x0 goodbye clutch

  • @MLinden27 no clutch likes abuse, that said the miata clutches are probably good to about 250ft/lbs stock. The stock engine puts out about 100ft/lbs. my 95 is still on it's stock clutch at 85K and im not extremely nice to it either ;) Also FWIW revving up the engine doesnt hurt the clutch. It's dropping the clutch from a standing start that puts stress on it, shifting at 7K rpm like I mentioned wont effect clutch life if the car is being properly shifted.

  • @JD0x0 You'd be surprised dude. Hitting the red line every one in a while wont hurt much, but if you do it all day I guarentee you that clutch won't last too long. 85k is a damn virgin.
