  • i liked it...

  • @IETCHX69 Thanks.

  • Very nice performance, anyway.... how can you say that the snare drum is annoying??? :)

  • Sure— jut play it like it's a Disco Elevator song.

  • @Rexicano Why not? It's public domain and I'm just having fun.

  • Howard Stern plays guitar! Very nice!!!

  • @Jonlemaar Hehehe...Thanks.

  • i didn't know you were born a quintuplet Donn. 5 identical brother's, your poor mother. one brother should play drums though, then you guys could go on tour!!

  • Sounds great, but I'd rather the original.

  • @NanjuMoon Thanks. I was just having some fun.

  • @Donn713 Not bad at all, on the contrary, I think it is good to try other instruments :)

  • Fantastic work, man! Great performance and video editing. Congrats my friend!

  • @jogviolin Thanks Jorge.

  • WOW!! This took a LOT of work! It paid off! Sounds Fantastic and very entertaining! Can't understand the 25 dislikes??? Everyone is a major critic I guess! LOVE IT!

  • @sageguitar70 Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Wow, I didn't watched before a version of this song with guitars, sounds great, you should try do the whole song.

  • decent, but why is the feel in 4/4? Unless it's in 3/4 (or some form of triple time) you can't technically call it Bolero. Bolero isn't just the name, it's a type of dance, just like waltz or gigue, and it is automatically in 3/4. Good arrangement apart from that, though :)

  • @smelliot95 Thanks. It is Ravel's Bolero and it's public domain. I built a poly rhythmic drum track. Some of it is 4/4, some of it is 3/4 and some of it has layers of both at the same time. I didn't use the traditional snare drum part until the very end because it's just too boring to have it run the length of the song.

  • @Donn713 Fair enough. Anyway, one day I hope I'll find my other four guitar playing identical quintuplets...

  • nice

  • Very cool video - from the playing to the graphics . Just top notch - rock on!

  • @TheDrumChannel Thanks.

  • Hey dude, i was wondering what is that thing in your right hand,i have seen it in a couple of your vids but have no clue...?

  • @SlackBabbathTs It's an EBow. It vibrates the strings magnetically (only one at a time). Check out Ebow.c o m

  • jaja que feo esta esto laneta que no mame

  • WHAT A GREAT TRIP, Donn !!!!

man - the word awesome is so overused that it became almost meaningless -

    but this IS fuck!n AWESOME!!!!

...and I admit - I'm damn envious, too - cos I'd love to do such artworks ! ;-DD

  • @DavidCoverday Thanks. I really appreciate you saying that.

  • Man that was an awesome job on ravel's bolero bro, i had the luxury of being introduced to bolero as a very young child. My father played the crap out of it, i have enjoyed it ever since. Seems like everytime you hear it, its like your hearing it for the first time. I really need to hear it live though. THere is an local orchestra where i live in akron ohio that are pretty good. Tickets are a little high though but probably well worth it.

  • @valeofsecrecy Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.

  • That Damn Snare Drum....

  • hahahaahahaha! You're fucking awesome dude, keep it up!

  • At first i was like Wtf, and then i was like dude DUDE. so ya cool

  • Thanks dude.

  • @luckyjinxer me too

  • Amazing Donn!!! 5 stars!!

  • WTF

  • Amazing video, congratulation!

Unusual performance of this masterpiece from Ravel, but well done. :-)))

  • very cool

  • I'm beginner in playing guitar (btw I like heavier stuff :D), and I was looking for a Bolero on a guitar (my favorite composition). I'd like to see some lessons but when I saw this... Man I'm really surprised that someone can actually make a cover this good! Now I don't know what is the point of searching a tab or a lesson when I see that someone can play it like this. I'm jealous :D

  • Thank you so much. That means a lot to me but don't give up. It's a great piece of music and I'm jealous of people who can play it finger style on acoustic. Go for it. (btw the first guitar you see plays the entire melody on the G string just going up and down the neck. that made it a little easier for me to learn.)

  • Donn, totally awesome! I'm a beginner at guitar, YouTube and special video effects. Just beginning to scratch the surface, but hope someday I can achieve something as polished as what you have shared! Thanks! Look forward to more from Donn713!

  • Thanks Bob. Youre off to a good start, keep it up.

  • hey donn that is awesome keep them coming. i live in fla and know your dad...

  • Thanks. Stay tuned.

  • I generally balk at covers, but doing a cover of a classic is a different matter.

    5/5

  • Thanks.

  • Excellent! Nicely done version of "Bolero". Good playing, mix and backdrops--First rate production. 5*

  • Thanks.

  • Great stuff, man! Can't understand only three stars thing here - 5 for sure to me.

Please, post more with ebow or whatever.

    Rock on!!!

  • WOW! That was very cool! You don't see many people use an ebow anymore. That was awesome! Thanks for sharing! LC

  • Super cool ! Nice work !

  • Nice job! Anytime you want to join the Ebow Quartet, just holla!

  • This made me grin. Nice work.

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I just watched your alien jazz armada. Nice work also, made me grin too.
