  • Thanks man, great tutorial!!! I have just one question... After the instalation, my screen don't work with the Stylus anymore and i can't make the calibration... Any ideas??? Thanks for your attetion!

  • @brunobiomedico It sounds like the cable that goes from the screen to the connector on the motherboard is not all the way in the connector.

  • Thanks for the tutorial! One question, after installation the screen will not stay lit.. i can faintly see the display but i'm not able to adjust brightness.. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

  • @Moneyhands26 It sounds like you do not have the ribbon cable pushed all the way into the ribbon socket on the motherboard. That is the most common mistake when putting in a new screen on this unit.

  • The screen on my Palm Treo 680 is completely blacked out. I can barely see anything. The brightness adjustment doesn't work. Will replacing the LCD screen fix this problem? The phone works fine.

  • From the brief description that you gave it sounds like a bad screen. Goto DirectFix com and search Part# PA2076

  • hey just a though but would it be possible to replace the camera inside it with a better one from another phone

  • Maybe... but doubtful it could be done.

  • I'm assuming the same procedure can be followed for the Treo 750?

  • Take a look at our Treo 755p video it will be closer to the 750 process.
