The chemistry that these two give off when they are around each other is insane. Im so glad that Lana left. In MY opinion, she was always playing Clark, even when she knew his secret. And, she married Lex and tasted power, then had to have more and more. If he had stayed with Lana, (Not that it was possible) but if he had of, i think that she would have corrupted him, not helped him be the man he is. (Superman).

I love these two. :) They make everything better!

I think this happened through his training with his birth father. Not that Jor-El exactly taught him this but more how to not use his total strength unless he needed to.

But I think that Smallville should not have delved with Lana and Clark that long in Smallville...I just thought that its kinda lame...now that it is ending the producers kinda rushed the CLOIS relationship and all. Thought they wasted so much time in all those 8 years without focusing on Clois. In fairness, it is pre-Superman years, so I would understand in a way.

Lois has been on the show since Season 4 and even with all the Clana bs going on, the writers still spent those years with having these two engage in innocent flirtations, deep conversations, etc. I mean its not like their attraction came out of nowhere, they've hinted from the start that that these two are very much into each other. As far as i'm concerned, we've gotten two pretty solid seasons of Clois as a couple. That's more than enough for me...

Sparks had been flying between Clark & Lois, and they were slow dancing and he was just about to kiss her, when Lana enters. She and Clark rekindle their romance. Lana steals a superhuman bodysuit Lex had made, so she takes on many characteristics of Clark. Then Lex tricks her into absorbing a mega dose of Kryptonite, so she and Clark can never be together. Exit Lana.

Most definitely, their chemistry may have started out rather awkward but, doesn't mostly everybodies chemistry start out that way when they first start dating now and then? Relationships have to grow and Clois certainly did grow in their relationship. I would have been very happy with six seasons of Clois footage sucks that Lana had to be there.

They did the right thing by introducing the Lois early on...and allowing the audience time to grow to her character.

And come on!........this episode ALONE was worth the wait! Perfect.
