N64- Episode 1 racer expansion pack comparison- HD(1080p)

I'm kinda stupid, bu what is an "Expansion Pak"

God, I wish I still had my expansion pak. Had my N64 stolen, so I had to get another one, and didn't get a new pak to replace it. It would be nice to be able to play like this again.

My TV was too small to tell the difference at that time, I used to play on a black and white radio that had built in mini tv screen at my moms work place, I think the TV screen was a 5inches by 5inches if I'm not mistaken =/

the difference is great, other games that are much better with the expansion pack:

turok 2

shadow men

star wars rogue squadron

perfect dark

resident evil 2 n64 (with expansion pack is much better than the PS1 version)

no it looks sharper. I think it doesn't even use any anti-aliasing in hi-res mode.

Much sharper, but I think this particular game almost benefits from the pixelfog and blurriness that it has without the pack. Makes it seem faster..

@Mikeyburger3 I Guess you can if you get a capture card Or a good camera and great settings. I helped a guy on youtube get great quality recordings with just a camera. You can do it with freeware.

Pretty awesome comparison. Maybe it's just me, but I don't notice much of a difference. I mean the difference is negligible. The textures look ever so slightly sharper. But I guess you have to see it on the screen up close to tell what's different. Awesome look though.

@youtubasoarus Yeah it's a lot clearer(sharper) but it looks awesome on a large tv. without it it looks like the psp blown up in full screen on a huge tv which i''ve done and it looks bad.

I have an expanded 64 so I've never seen it unexpanded, the textures are so much richer in the xpanded, thanks :o) I still want to strangle that anakin lol
