It was a great idea to show the beauty of salsa, but a very bad one to mix it with that type of music. It sucks! To me this tells me that the person who had this idea does not understand salsa. The good thing about this is that Salsa gets more exposure among other people that are not into Salsa dancing.

What a waste of good music and great dancers. When is DWTS going to feature REAL latin musicians as guest for the salsa dancers. This looks ridiculous and doesn't showcase either performers talent. What a waste! Why don't they pick some grammy winners like Eddie Palmieri or Spanish Harlem Orchestra and pay tribute to the music that inspires this dance.

the other one by this couple was better. This had too many leg extensions and was too bouncy, almost as if they were trying too hard to show off. The other one was amazing.
Talented dancers can dance to anything and make it beautiful. These two marvelous dancers proved that. I could never get tired of this video. My only complaint is that they showed too much Mary J. Blige and not enough Yesenia and Rodrigo dancing!
maybe we tend to loose focus on whats important here.Its art and interpretation..thats what should be applauded not necessarily who sings what and who dances to what.We in South Africa danced to R&b for years and calling it Jazzing.Then when I started traveling I met some Latinos that said that I could salsa.It seemed no matter what we called it it achieved the same result.Good feel,good vibe..thats what music,art interpretation truelly are to me.Heres to the above artists great job!!!
Having been a a salsero for over 10 years, I think it's a COMPLETE injustice to the dance to have these two great dancers dance to that kind of music...They should be dancing to SALSA....
