i have Custom 22 matteo chose it over les paul & Gibbson sg there is no better guitar the action is perfect my fret doves are filled in mother of peal effect just a piece of art. Oh and really playing dude!

My 2009 Custom 22 with itsTortoise Shell finish and gold hardware is the best instrument I have ever played or owned. I bought a Gibson Les Paul Supreme and owned it for about 6 months before I realized I made a big mistake so I sold it and bought my PRS. Im soooooo glad I did. ROCK ON PEOPLE !!!

nice playing dude, I have the exact same guitar. It's such a beauty. I noticed that the bird inlays on yours are different from mine. Why do some have the bird inlays that are all filled and some that have a hollow middle? Mine is the hollow one.

In '08 they updated the Birds to outlined.

That is some damn unique playing. Haven't seen anything like this on YouTube before.

I've played guitar for about 12 years and one detail about guitars that I have as sort of a pet peeve is how hard the strings are to bend. I've had some expensive guitars and cheap guitars. Right now I'm playing a cheap Ibanez and the strings seem really hard to bend compared to the lower model GAX70.

How well would you say this guitar plays?

prs is just blowing all the other brands out of the water.

The once great Gibson comes out with the "robot guitar" instead of getting back to their roots of making solid guitars.

Fender also makes a similar thing to the robot guitar....

If this was a football game... It's the 4th quater and prs is winning by 3 touchdowns.

Couldn't agree more. I just bought a Custom 24 1957/2008 PRS and it's the best $3,500.00 I could have spent. Meanwhile people are spending $4,500 on R9's and getting a lesser guitar in design, refinement and quality.

I have several PRS guitars and every one of them is perfect in every way but Gibson still have that something but they really are hit and miss. However if you get a good one, they really are out on their own. I have a 63 reissue 335 and a R9 both from Yamano in Japan and I tell you what they are truelly amazing. If only Gibson cared as much as PRS, maybe 50 years ago they did but alas, all the best. Bottom line is if your lucky, you could get a great Gibson but PRS deliver everytime

Gibson is also a top name in the guirtar buisness and has been for a LONG time. They know that if it has Gibson written on the headstock, people will buy it(and pay some serious money for it too), even if the quality isnt always up to par.

I chose the 22 because i love the stoptail bridge

The 24 doesn't come with one, only the trem

With the trem, you just slide it through the back
