Personally I like the red-haired version of Simon, it fits better with Ayame Kojima's art then the original did. The orginal to me was generic for the 80's and 90's. It had sparse differences with Ken from Street Fighter or Jake from Night Slashers. This style integrates Simon into the rest of the story, at least i think so, and I like it better.
I swear to fuck, if I see one more fucking Twilight-related comment in one more fucking Castlevania video, I am going to suffer a head explosion of Scanners-esque proportions.
@DarthKrattus I heard that SSB4 may have Character Creation, so if that's true they just need some sort of "Whip" class and people will make their own Simons :)

@l3awl3ag Trying to explain is hard, here is a good example. on one the earlyer stages its all ice. there is a giant worm that come out of a hole but you dont see the hole so it gets you and u fall in and die. anouter part u have to wait there for 10 seconds before a platform breaks randomly. its full of beginer traps. you have to know whats goi g to happen and even then it still have parts in the game that are just rediculus. sorry for the bad spelling.
@ACinthemaking I know the part that you're talking about. That annoyed me first time I came across it too. The worm is a pain in the arse, but if you use the freeze time item then it can't move. There's a freeze time in a candle right before you come across it. It's on the platform behind the stairs leading up to the worm. Just climb the stairs then jump to it.
As for that breaking platform, you can break it with your whip. Just jump, hold down, then attack and Simon will whip downwards.

The best mix for this theme, I think, is the Super Nintendo Mix for Castlevania 4. Either way, this goes down in history as THE top game theme, and it's painfully overlooked and underrated.
This one, Bloody Tears, Vampire Killer, Tower of Dolls are probably the best soundtracks in the game. Wicked Child was not so good (in THIS game)...
Funny how all of these are remakes of earlier Castlevania games, and the new ones arent nearly as good. The CV games after 2000 had some cool NEW CV songs however, like Castle Corridor from AoS, some songs in DoS, some of OoE, and the PS2 games... all of the new ones arent as good as the old ones, but some were just or nearly as good.

Every big name scary bad guy has their mood-setting theme music to make their scenes scary. Freddy has the schoolyard chant, and Jason has the *chh-chh-chh-hah-hah-hah*.
For movies meant to scare monsters themselves, they just use this one.

Presentation gives you suspense and that sense of a great and fearsome quest.
Main Part was like your presentation of how badass you are for entering in Dracula's keep
Interlude gives you the sensation that you're the shit.
Point is, make the theme, with instruments, but follow the same traditional Simon's Theme.

Twilight Vampires: WILL die after being beaten to a puddle of bloody sparkles.
Belmonts: Will realize "Twilight Vampires" don't die unless attacked by other vampires or werewolves, and will just laugh and beat them into sparkling mush that needs an ICU.

@PlaystationDudeify Yeah lol. Assuming that it would only take Simon one crack of his whip (which it obviously would lol), and taking into consideration the fact that a whip can quite easily break the sound barrier, I'd say that the fight would last well under 2 seconds.

Every big name scary bad guy has their mood-setting theme music to make their scenes scary. Freddy has the schoolyard chant, and Jason has the *chh-chh-chh-hah-hah-hah*.
For movies meant to scare monsters themselves, they just use this one.

@Ericnorify Agreed dude. The theme from Castlevania 4 was more like action and suspense, but this is just like an "Enter Simon Theme", but the classic one was the perfect music, like;
Presentation gives you suspense and that sense of a great and fearsome quest.
Main Part was like your presentation of how badass you are for entering in Dracula's keep
Interlude gives you the sensation that you're the shit.
Point is, make the theme, with instruments, but follow the same traditional Simon's Theme.

They are a cross between low class vampires and high class faggots, you can call them, "FAGPIRES." The vampire killer whip will work on them. Yet to use it upon FAGPIRES is a disgrace to the vampire killer whip itself. We can just use natural urea blobs of dogs on them.

Just start grabbing some androgynous boy, use some Medieval logic like they did with the witches, find him being guilty of being a vampire, and then see what happens when you whip him with the fabled Vampire Killer.
