  • I just recently found this band and they are great. True Musicians and they play with Heart and Soul. This type of talent is Timeless !

  • nice sound and video work. thanks.

  • Paul westerberg lookalike contest winner: This guy!

  • No posers here!!!

  • This band is so damn funky, they seem like the kind of band that could just jam for hours and hours. Plus the drummer has backrest on his stool, I've always wanted that...

  • Saw them at Double Decker Music Fest this year, and they tore it up.. keep it going fellas.

  • Why not come and see the North Mississippi Allstars at the world famous Dingwalls, Camden, London on Wednesday 11th May. Tickets from Dingwalls website.

  • REMINDS ME OF PINK FLOYD

  • Definitely some of the best "New" blues that I've heard in a LONG time !

  • I'm a big fan of NMASs but this song kinda sucks Average white band meets pink floyd meets Karaoke(spellig?) LOL

  • 大変良い。

  • great stuff, you can't beat the blues! For a recent clip of 2 of the NMA guys see

"North Mississippi Allstars - Hear The Hills - Live @ Amoeba, San Francisco, March 2011"

  • It doesn't get much better than this, real and badass music.

  • The best music has always had less followers than the mainstream garbage.

...the Allstar's are like a clear mountain stream.

Support them when they come to a dive bar in you town.

    300-million hits is a sewer.

  • luther dickinson was on the new black crows album

  • Good song !!!

  • That's because Luther is one of the Crowes now! Genuine guitar player, joins the top of my list with the likes of Marc Ford and Stevie Ray Vaughn as my favorites!

  • Luther Dickinson plays for the Black Crows...

  • These guys are kinda like The Black Crowes.....the last of a dying breed, they play their own instruments, they have groove and soul, and they don't need auto tune or a drum track to be able to play like hell. If this came out in the 70's or early 80's it would be on top of the charts....now, it has only has 10000 views on the internet, while freaking Justin Bieber has almost 300 million....kinda messed up. Thanks music big time industry!

  • @pedalocity just be thankful you can still see them at small clubs, which I highly recommend!!

  • @justinpaloma Totally man, I play in a small little band around town, and go to as many local shows as I can, and you really can't match the raw emotion, power, and intimacy of seeing a great band in a small club/bar. I would pick a small venue over an arena any day of the week.

  • @pedalocity That's as true a comment as I've seen on YouTube. The music industry is alllll about image and very little about real musical talent. They remind me a little bit of The Allman Brothers, before Duane Allman died.

  • @pedalocity luther the lead man plays for black crowes now

  • @pedalocity um, Black Keys just won 3 grammys...

  • @wick2107 Yeah, and the black keys are also a 2 piece, and use alot of computer effect. I have also never heard the black keys play anything like this. All I was saying was that it is interesting how music has changed from talented groups that could play their asses off, to more of pretty boy/pretty girl hacking to a techno beat. The black keys may have won 3 grammys and are better than the top 40 crap out their right now, but still are an "obscure" band that most people haven't heard of.

  • @pedalocity Black Keys use alot of computer effects? since when? They use effects on guitars, harpsichords, keyboards, but they never go on garageband and computerize it. They sound mix stuff but every band has done that since Elvis Presley. Black Keys are hardly obscure. They had an album go gold in America and were the #1 band on radios for November through December last year. By the way, electronic beats ARE tough to do correctly. Sure there is alot of crap but listen to Skream or Burial.

  • @wick2107 Hey man, I get what your saying, trust me. I work in a music store. I play in bar bands. I get what your saying. I am just saying I dig what these guys are doing, and wish this was the norm, not Lady Gaga and Justin Beiber. This has 42,744 views. Bieber is over 300 million. Just wish this, The Black Keys, Black Crowes, all that stuff, was appreciated more than it is. I'm not arguing with ya man, just digging the music.

  • @pedalocity Alright, well actually Lady Gaga is very good. She was playing Mozart on the piano before she was ten and was hired because she has the vocal range that Freddie Mercury had...listen to her sing acoustically or an acapella and you will see the raw talent she possesses. Plus, nobody is making music nor performing like she is. I mean Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj are like cheap whorish knock-offs.

  • @wick2107 I have to agree with you, Lady Gaga has a great musical talent and is an amazing concert pianist...too bad neither of those are put to good use in any of her songs. They aren't made to be good songs, they're made to make money.

  • @pedalocity Also listen to the Black Keys perform Stack Shot Billy/Busted live. Best live performance today. Then talent-wise John Mayer tops the North Mississippi All-Stars. Then there is everything Jack White does.

  • @pedalocity Its gonna be ok, the industry is dying :]

  • @pedalocity Aint it the truth. Its a sad cold world were livin' in....

  • Fantastic video and music performance! Thank You!

  • I would've LOVED to have been right there in the front row!!!!!!

  • what pink floyd song is the introduction? another brick in the wall? can't remember.

  • @Metallikakka I don't think it is a Pink Floyd song in the introduction... Just a psychedelic sound due to the organ sound.

  • @bagodonuts93 thanx man....I freaking love these guys. Luther has made me change my style of playing completely no more PICK.!! Ironically enough, my last name is Dickinson as well. LOL

  • @sevinvega I dont understand how people can play guitar with a pick haha we got five fingers on both hands for a reason

  • @sevinvega you realize he was using a pick right? at 1:53 he reaches and grabs it out of his mouth

  • Is this the Higher Ground in Burlington, VT.?

  • @sevinvega yeah this where they performed a concert htat is out on DVD very sweet i recommend buying it check out nmallstars . com for everything north mississippi
