ok.. since he says, "one think I can say for sure is I couldn't love you any more," it's implied that he can't "love you any more than he already does," (it's b/c the first clause is in the present tense). To say "anymore," he would've had to have said "I can't love you anymore" or set the entire first clause in the past tense with something like, "one thing i knew for sure was that I couldn't love you anymore." IDK what his intentions were, but his grammar definitely favors one over the other.

They need to get rid of all the instruments and just make a good rock song like domestica and storms.
