The thing i like most about Rocky is because it was made so cheap it meant they shot it in cheap areas so it made Rocky look cheap which suited his character perfectly. If they had more money they could have ruined it.

Back when I was in college, the late Gene Siskel came to speak at my university, to give a general talk about movies.

And when the subject of good writing came up, he specifically showed a clip of the scene of Adrian going up to Rocky's apartment .

And even tho it was kind of surprising that of all the movies to show a clip from, he chose this one, for me, it was also a bit gratifying that he chose one of my favorite films of all time.

This is amazing. It took a lot of work to make Rocky and I am sooo inspired. I wish i could meet Slyvester Stallone. Its so romantic and it shows emmotion. Even with lots of inguries Sly made the best film I have ever seen. Its my favorite movie!
