I had an adult cicada in my front yard for a couple weeks, he would sing almost every night from 8:40 to 9:40...and alot of the time he would start at exactly that time and end exactly an hour later
These are just simply cute and adorable. You're lucky to have found one of these easily. These are hard to find, unlike the "cicada invasion" this year.
You liked to know that filmed ace a female of cicada of the species tibicen, by the way the leg front has it bad you do not see that it could not subject well, he was ali down surely by the wind that the demolition and did not have but remedy that to pay attention to the tomato :)
whoa is that suppose to be a rain bug? Well since it dropped does that mean you are not going to get rain?

We have Green Grocer Cicada's here, its the start of summer and their constantly singing very loudly, also many birds eat them.

they spend most of there lives underground barrowing, I don't even think they realize they have wings...they are pretty big too

I once caught a cicada and it spun its head in a full circle and kept chirping then flew away when I realesed it. Freaky!

Nothing tells me better than a cicada's loud buzz, that summer is here. Love these insects. They're truly amazing.
