Any US aid is conditional!! US requires to send in their troops. WHY??? Therefore, Myanmar refused the aid. However Myanmar accepted all the aid from Thailand, Singapore, China, Canada and ........

The Thai PM came out yesterday and stated that the Military Goverment of Myanmar refused additional aid from Thailand. The fact is that the Myanmar goverment is afraid that all this international aid makes them look bad in the eyes of their own people. They are parinoid that by accepting foreign aid their own people will see how corrupt and incompetent they truely are. Very sad.

No one says democracy is perfect but it bears out that representative goverments are more productive and prosperous than dictatorships,theorcracies, and military goverments. my country did send help when katrina happened. But help usually doesn't arrive until the aproval of the hurt country like Maynmar now. Even though my country's help should not matter in katrina since it happened in one of the powrfull countries where its own ppl were neglected cuz they were black. USA does not want to help the people of Myanmar, they only want to show others that Myanmar ppl are suffering cuz they have no democracy. If they want to help, they can send the help without military
