I watched my very first episode of Dr. Who the other day because i saw that Carey Mulligan was starring. I love her interviews about "An Education" . Carey is very talented and utterly charming. ... "Blink" was good and the Doctor was very good too. ...... After ignoring this show for 40 years i may have to watch a little more but i have a question . Was this show representative or was it especially good ?

This episode is a classic for sure. There are other episodes just as good too. Dr Who has reference links in various episodes, it can mention something off the cuff and then it makes sense in a episode following, sometimes months later, sometimes you have to watch the not so good to really enjoy the best.

@rlegear19 you know, i really think this is a majorly awesome episode. But that doesn't mean that the rest of the show isn't good. There are some okay episodes, and then there's a lot of really amazing ones like this.

Although, in most of the other episodes, there's a lot more of the doctor--which is nice, because I love David Tennant. Haha. But yeah, this was a pretty awesome episode compared to some of the others.
