  • replace the water feature

  • Awesome tank

  • love ur setup but i think u should use rocks to build up around the waterfall to make it look more like a waterfall

  • anyway AWSOME TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • when you said toad it sounded like you said TURD LOL!!!!!!!! :)

  • totally subscribing!!!!!!!!

  • congrats on 10,000 views!! amazing setup!!!

  • got some questions, how did you do that fountain and partion off the water side, or at least make it on one side and underneath?

  • Inspiring!

  • This is EXACTLY what I want to build.

I've never built one before, but your setup, and your choice of amphibians is exactly what I'm looking to do.

    I just have one question;

I was told newts and some frogs can secret slime, that might kill off any fish.

Have you had this problem, does it exist?

  • how big is the aquarium

  • 天地无情,人间有爱..一方有难,八方支援

  • i dont like this because the stream is not realy natural. i like rootsbut, that semi water fall and that noise. that noise your frogs probably dislike. the waterfall it needs more pizzaz extend the tube and foam up some rocks make a waterfall :D

  • UR M IDOL cuz of this tank XD

  • Very nice tank. I noticed not all were fire bellies.. There was a black and grey one too, What kind of frog is it?

  • im planning for the same setup i machined a housing for the water pump and made a plexi gass divider now im fixxing onmaking a stream out of rectangular plastic overall im completely satisfied on how it works and when i set mine all up even though im on a budget ill post a video response in aout a month

  • do you need a heater for the water portion

  • hey i was wondering if this would work on a 25in tank? and how do you make a devider?

  • an awesome addition would be a cool rock waterfall where the tube is pumping out water!!!

also adding pebbles and gravel in the river would make for a more natural look

    - beautiful tank though =)

  • howdo u clean the tank and prevent things from growing in thewater

  • were did you get the newts from

  • U know if you want another marbel salamander you can buy one from lllreptile online

  • what is the name of your river/pond kit so i can find something similar

  • i love fire belly toads, one time i was working ona terrerium, so i put my golden treefrog i with my fire bellies, and my golden tree frog grabbed a cricket, then my 3 fire belly toads tried to steal the cricket from the tree frog, but the tree frog was to high up on the glass so the toads could not reach it.

  • how do you keep the moss alive?

  • this is an awesome setup my little brother has 2 musk turtles but wants some newts and i'd love some 2 :)

  • You should do an update to show us how they are doing. It seriously looks AMAZING! I just got a brand new buddy added to my collection. His name is Cuddles and he is an Emperor Scorpion! He is pretty docile and very neat to watch.

  • are these ur only pets?

  • urm yes the firebellied toad has been in the tank for a week so it could be that but he is starting to move a lot more now he is really trying to get this cricket it was the first one i gave him and it is living in the tank so i have to feed him other crickets that one must be to fast for him

that cricket has been in the tank just as long as the toad lol

anyway thanks for all your help

  • will your water clear up before it was sparkling

in my tank i have just made a brigde out of tree branches will moss ontop of them

your firbellied toad moves around load mine only moves around a night

is that because the light is too bright

    thanks

    nice tank

  • @rugbyhockeyrishi The water will clear up . Are your firebelly toads brand new to the tank .Mine have been doesticated for years so they move around in the day .Maybe its just a matter of time?

  • you are so cool. your tank looks so bright and how did you get so many nice logs it looks amazing

  • @rugbyhockeyrishi These are tree roots that stick out of a creek bank ,they are covered in moss .I cut them with a saw .

  • how could anyone give this video a thumbs down??

  • MWAHAHHA EVIL NEWT CASTLE

  • very cool. great job.

  • @garthmillersienkiewi lol large ???? you think wrong, thats not large ...this would be great if only the firebelly toads live in there ...they MUST get two other setups for the other spec. ----why mix them again ...told last setup dont mix them. amphibians are all poison, not dangerous for humans but they all get poison from the other ones a bit for a bit ... and now fishes are there too ...fuck it i hate those animal cruality setups ...

  • don't get me wrong ist a good setup but NOT for three different spec. of amphibians ... this would be great if only the newt oder only the toads live in thre ...and the others get their own home !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then i would love the setup ...but not for all of them together ...

  • and for the treefrog needs a higher setup i think ...i don't know the hight but it looks not high enough for a frog that lives high in the trees ....

  • and the treefrog of course needs a higher setup ..... i don't know how high it is but it don't look high enough for a frog that lives high in the trees .... go and buy another aquaterra for the newt (or for the toads) and one HIGH Terrarium for the treefrog ...

if you want to mix tthese animals whats ever a bad idead you need a setup thats some meters long , high and wide ....that setup is for ONE sepc. only and NOT for a treefrog !!!!! GET IT

  • @AFlippingBudjunky GOD WILL YOU STOP MOANING ABOUT EVERYT|HING!!! THIS TANK ROCKS! AND IT IS LARGE ENOUGH!!!

  • @AFlippingBudjunky STOP DEMANDING OF HIM TO GET ANOTHER TANK! THAT IS SO ARROGANT!

  • 2 .Abig tiger salamander metamorphised from a mud puppy (as live fish bait ) -very shy .

  • @flyingscience That makes sense. as i recall many or all salamanders undergo a Axolotl or mud puppy like phase where by they possess fully functional gills. for that matter, so do all frogs and toads as i recall, just one of many homologous characteristics. common in all amphibians. Really interesting stuff.

  • @flyingscience Is that the same salamander that was in some of the old pictures from your "skylords albums?"

  • 1. I saw a waterfall once that was little more than piled rocks with a water pump filter outlet existing on the rock top hidden .

  • Toads and frogs outnumber newts and salamanders in terms of species diversity by thousands. Maybe their great success is related to being able to outcompete the other amphibians for food?

  • great what you are doing. its really relaxing watching your amphibian once you have contructed a realy good place for them to stay in.
