Damn nice run. Ive got a 2011 Grand Sport, but Ive got an Auto. How do you think my rear end would hold up to slicks...

with an auto i'd run drag radials. you shouldn't need a slick. rears on auto cars will usually last longer b/c it doesn't shock the rear as much if you preload and stall the car up.

I notice that the rear has been patched. I am guessing those Hoosiers got a little too tall for the set-up and whooped the ¼ panel into submission.

no it is not patched. it is called blue painters tape which helps keep rubber from sticking to my quarter panels. easier to pull tape off than to get off the sticky ass rubber.

no. i have stock bottom end stock cube ls2. it runs so good b/c i have a good combo of parts that work amazing together.

@dsp300c yea thats what matters. if you got a good combo thats the ticket. i have a friend with a ls3 c6 with a baby cam, all the bolt ons and a 125 shot and he runs 10.60 @130mph on 19" drag radials your faster then that on motor! lmao i would love for you to come here and school that al mighty ls3! lol i need to know your combo for my ls2!!! but mine is in a 5200lb wrapper. :(

his mph is good. not sure what the DA was or his weight on your friends run. so it could get better. i've seen alot of people go cheap and throw shit together thinking it will all work and they learn the hard way that it won't. people underestimate the power of weight savings. my car has full interior expect pass seat was out and i had a race seat for me. but my roll bar made up for the seat i took out. my mods are listed on corvette forum under screen name dsp300c

hey man, running a tsp cam and 125 shot, hsw system, runs great and still on a stock clutch, did you mod your rearend? i only run 30 rolls on my nitto's, just wondering about the rear, might do track runs next year, thanks

I didn't know you went with nitrous, congrats that was an amazing ET into the 9's..Let me ask you something, how come you didn't go with 215's instead of 225's, I am looking for TFS heads in the future, was wondering if I would lose low end torque with 225's? I am getting different versions for my set up. I pretty much have similar mods except for heads, and yes 4.10's also. I am very confused as to which one to go with 215's 0r 225's?

i mainly went with the 225's based on my research on the forums. i heard they flowed the best and were the ones to get if you wanted to spend the money on them. plus i asked LG and TEA and they also both suggested them. for the ls2 this is the only head i will suggest. now as far as losing low end torque you might find a link on CF or DC with my best motor dyno. it will have 525 which is with belts on and 531 is with belts off.

Car is nuts, man. Love it. 1.46 is a hell of a sixty. I sold off my Livernois Stg 2's to step up to the TF 225's, and my Z06 diff/tranny are going tomorrow so I can make like dsp300c. Haha ;)

not sure my trap speed b/c they didn't post or print it. i think it was 142-144mph based upon what i usually back half. my 60' was only a 1.46.

i don't know my 1/4 mph on this run b/c they didn't post it. but my 1/8 mph was 112. yes i can hit this mph with 4.10s b/c of my non Z51 tranny and i am running a 28" tall tire. based up 28" tall tire, 4.10 rear gears, and the gear ratios in my tranny, my car in 4th gear will go if need be to 144-148 depending if i rev to 7100 or more. i usually back half 30-32 on motor so if i do the same here then this 1/4 mph should have been 142-144.
