They just don't think about it first and release what would be considered a prototype version... the 3DS is cool but you have to play it a specific distance away and you can't move from directly infront of the screen. Im sure sony will fix it like they did when they introduced PSMove.. adding the motion capture ball to the controller...

They always seem to want to be the first, but they don't even have anything in HD.

They might be ahead in technology, but they're simply behind in quality.

Their HD-system is coming NEXT YEAR. While 1080p (or even 720p) should be a STANDARD thing for years already and nothing special anymore.

But also the glasses-free 3D, I mean... yeah, nice... on a small DS-screen...

Looks like it will be the same display as the early nineties. by Which I mean a floating screen in front of you. I don't see how it work since the headset already works with the ps3 and isn't using a USB port which the camera uses. Granted you won't be able to see the camera so you have to set up before you start doing anything. I don't know but I'm definitely buying this in December when gaming season slows down and I can build up cash! xD
