I SWARE Paul must of had a thing for 20's music:D like listen to Martha My Dear, Your Mother Should Know, and When I'm Sixty-Four.. I bet he has more, I just can't think of any more hahah. Love.Paul's.Songs.
I remember, i used to love this song because it expressed how i felt towards my girlfriend who was living so far away from me. She left me yesterday and well..... this song has a WHOLE new meaning to it, yet i still love it as much as the first time i heard it.
The beauty about Beatles songs is that you can be deliriously in love with one song this week, then be obsessed about a completely different song next week. Right now, I'm deliriously in love with this song.
Though I am a very big fan of the Beatles, I had never heard this song. When I first listend to it, I was kind of laughing, 'cause on the Dutch tv there's a show called 'Abel's cakes' and this was the intro song.
@NowhereManStudios Yes, I got that. My point was that it's not even funny anymore. I get that you were intentionally over the top and everything in order to poke fun at those who take themselves too seriously, but at this point, it's just stale.
One of my favorite songs from this Album. Can't remember exactly, but the "Tiny Tim" (short lived phenomenon) seemed to coincide with this release, approximately......can't remember, pretty close though. Influences, I guess. Thanks for posting.
