No I just had a Super Panther CB modified to 26 to 28Mhz. I moved up coffs harbour once. Up there I lived near a beach and put up a 3 element beam on a bit of string to turn it LOL and a small amplifier. Used to get New Caledonia on str 7 on AM. They used to mouth off at me in french. I still have the same radio now 20+ yrs later but haven't used it for years.

2950 great radio got one in the mobile 2970 in the work truck and a 2990 on the base all pre dx models
