I have an Epiphone Broadway that i really thought sounded absolutely wonderful; and it did right up to the day I got an L5. For some reason the Epi started sounding like a cardboard box that very day - go figure. I want a 6122-1959 in the worst way.

The Epiphone "Joe Pass" model is the best guitar for the money. The Gibson and the Gretsch do sound and play better yes.

This Gretsch sounds just great. Don't you find the cheaper guitars you use sound dull by comparison?
