@calclif With openttd there are settings so you can say how many tiles a station can take up. Too large and it makes the game slow.

i played one version of the game when i was 13,ten years ago,and in this version there was an option to change all locomotives of specific type to locomotives of another type,or new ones from the same type.

i couldn't find this version again,and i always end up wasting all of my time on replacing old locomotives...

@yoeldg I haven´t seen this option anywhere, and it´s would be very useful :) Before ten years there was only TTDeluxe and patches for it... I have only little experiences with TTD but I think you can find it in this patches.

I like to tie a lot of stations together while using a very few depots as possible. like make one train and make it go back and forth between point A and B then make another train and link it to that track and use that depot and repeat it as much as I can without blowing trains up lol.

this explained above will come in handy if you're very limited on how many depots you can have of total.

Gewoon googlen op opentdd hier vind je een stabiele versie van Transport Tycoon. De originele versie van 1995 draait niet vlot meer op de huidige pc's, daarom is er een "open Source" van gemaakt. deze is gratis.

De webpagina hierboven is in het engels, maar het spel zelf kan je in het Nederlands zetten.

The chance that that happens in normal transport tycoon is like 0, because one town gets max 1 of each kind of industries.. You can't even build industries of the same type on one town if it's already within the surroundings of that town..

So only on the borders of the town zones those situations might occur..

OTTD however doesn't have any industrie restrictions based on towns (except the banks)..

Lol I used to harras CPU opponents by building a train hangar next to a road with train crossing to ram their busses.... ahahha, or drive busses around their office

Yeah, I always do that as well, or, if the opponent has build a road with a lot of vehicles driving on it, making a shortcut so his cars would drive over your road. On a moment if there are a lot of vehicles on the road blow up the road so the vehicles can't leave.

Well, first of all the station near Coal Mines is the best wierd looking station I've ever seen. But it opened my eyes for using such a ways in my railway stations. I only dont like the way you build the railroads near the stations. The way you use uses so much place and sometimes is not practical for example: from track there are two almost the same connectors for the same track at station. Did it just to make a colosal view? Not practical.

This station good by traffic wise, but it little wasting space and have sharp ways which slowling trains. Slow train - traffic. Traffic - no good income :) Don't chagrin but I can give just 6/10 ;)

Aha, ich konnte "Vorsignale" nicht ganz deuten. Aber ich habe doch an den Strecken Vorsignale gesetzt, wo sie nützen. Deswegen muss ja auch kaum ein Zug auf den Anderen warten. Ich wüsste nicht, wo ich da noch welche setzten sollte.
