Actually, Daimos, Voltes 5, and Combattler V are made by the same person. It's called the Robot Romance Trilogy, though the only one with any romance I know so far is Daimos.

Yu- Yu Hakuso and Hunter x Hunters are made by the same mangaka, being HxH his last work, they aren't rivals O_o

And Detective Conan and Lupin? Lupin was created in the '60 and is very very diferent to Conan.
