Love their sound. Reminds me of 1966 when acid wasn't illegal (yet) and people were just giving it away like candy on the Sunset Strip. Fun time to be 15 hitchhiking around LA or up to "The City". You'ld get killed now and devoured by cannibals.
Thanks dovdrummer. I was fifteen when this came out, in an era when even using the word "pretty" in the naming of a male band was quite a daring and inflamatory thing to do. Was the singer's name Phil May? I seem to remember the drummer was Viv Prince. I echo discdon below when I say I too would chose it as a Desert Island Disc.
You have to respect the fact that these guys didn't break weak after so many decades. They still have the magic and balls that made them who they are.
