I disagree with belting ruining this song, although I do like the control used in this performance. I think that belting can effectively get the message of this song across. The entire song shouldn't be belted, but belting with a sort of control sounds nice also.

Since I first heard her I've been a huge fan of Ali's, but it's only now that I'm beginning to prepare for my own cabaret that I realize what fantastic taste in music she has. She not only knows and works with what suits her voice (which irritatingly appears to be everything) but she has found some real hidden gems and pointed me towards some fabulous composers that I had never heard of before. I repeat what I have said before...quite simply beautiful! x
