hello kipkay, in the movie Ponyo the little boy finds his little toy bout and after Ponyo uses her magic to in-cress the size of the bout the boy places a heat sours under what looked like a medal disc. after a cobble sec. the medal disc heated up and my guess the air ex-banded in the disc pushing the toy bout now aside from movie magic is there a bout that works similar as i described a if there is may you make a video explaining how it works.

Seems like HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene) or Fiberglass would be a better choice of material for the cylinder. Exploding PVC is not pretty.

But I never envisioned one this simple. For an even simpler (and perhaps more dangerous) simple engine, check out pulse jet engines.

I'm not sure why this one made it into the magazine as it's not a working design. It demonstrates one explosion of a air/fuel mixture with both spark and fuel being introduced manually. Not much of an engine by any stretch. I normally like these ideas but this one was doomed to fail from the start.
