I experienced braxton hicks contractions a lot with all my pregnancies and someone told me it was good exercise for the birth process. They felt like you described them. My third child was born in 45 minutes!! so I agree that it's good exercise for the uterus. Take care and focus on good nutrition and exercise to keep your great shape and to build the strength you'll need!
I was pregnant with twin girls. My stomach was really hard at 29 weeks, but I thought it was normal 'cause I was pregnant with twins. The day I turned 30 weeks pregnant, I went into early labor. I had no idea because this was my first pregnancy. I had back labor, and I thought it was just normal pregnancy pains. I honestly thought I was having braxton hicks. But 2 days later, I had my daughters. 2 months early. They spent the first two months of their life in the hospital. Good luck!!! c:

Also, my son when he was born, had a good head of hair. Not full or anything, but it was still a pretty good amount, but I never really got heartburn at all with him. Only on one day but we were also moving that day too, so that may have had something to do with it. So I don't believe the "head of hair = heartburn" wivestale.
I've watched all your vids since you were pregnant with Lilia, and in this preg you talked way early on about being hungry but having no appetite. I didn't really understand that until now. I had such bad heartburn with my 2nd son that I had to sleep sitting up. The ultrasound tech said wow look at the hair already of course we were like ohh yeah not really seeing it, well he was born with so much hair the nurses mohawked it after his first bath!
Im 25 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and I had braxton hicks bad with my last pregnancy and I think they are starting again this pregnancy. Sounds like those tightenings you are having could be braxton hicks. I found when bubs move it would sometimes trigger braxton hicks. :)
The heartburn thing is a myth! I was kinda disappointed having so much heartburn for nothing, my baby came out bald lol! But at least you have the pic to prove it! They told me in my 3d ultrasound they didn't see any hair, so believe that before the "heartburn myth" :)

The heartburn gets worse. My son was 9'11 oz at birth and at least the last month I had to sleep practically sitting up or the burning was Soo bad I practically would throw up.

hey jess hope all is well....i had heartburn really bad too i literally couldn't eat anything or drink anything without getting it! lol but what worked best for me is to drink milk idk what u have tried or anything but drinking a lot of milk helped with mine...also i noticed in your video towards the end right aroung your belly button almost looks likes its kind or bruised???...idk it could have been the lighting or something but anyway so happy for you and try the milk idea if u haven;t already

Don't let anyone talk you into circumcising or not circumcising because that is your decision and someone's baby may have a good experience with it and someone else's baby may not so its if you feel comfortable doing.

@GabeandJesss (cont...) ... on the pediatrician doing the procedure (there's 2 ways to do the procedure) to make sure they didn't have any problems w their babies. I did for my son & the peds doc did a great job! He healed perfectly! & b/c you'll have 2 boys & a toddler, you may want to think about/look into how time consuming taking care of uncircumcised is vs. circumcised, not only right after birth but in the long-run. Obviously health is the most important & I don't judge anyone decisions
Braxton hicks sure can hurt :-) and they hurt more and more with each pregnancy... they are usually the culprit for women going to the hospital with false labor. Regarding the colostrum, every pregnancy is diff. no worries about when it shows.I never leaked pre-delivery with babies 2, 3 and 4.

They are not false contractions, it's a real contraction but it's not pain. It's just your body preparing your uterus for labor. It's normal for them to start @ 20 weeks. ;o)

Your stomach is sooo small. If I saw you in a store or something I would never ever guess you were having twins, let alone 26 weeks along! I thought I was small with my 1 baby but wow haha. They're just tucked right in there, nothing wrong with that =)
My heart burn was so bad. I couldnt drink water, only thicker things like milk and smoothies but I also could eat really thick things like chocolate. For the last 3 months of it i had to sleep in a recliner nearly sitting straight up. It felt like there was a ball of peanut butter in my throat. And my daughter head a full and thick head of hair. I wish i could post a pic here! Nows shes 13 months with curly hair to the middle of her back. My sister didnt have hb and her son was soo bald haha

Im 25 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and I had braxton hicks bad with my last pregnancy and I think they are starting again this pregnancy. Sounds like those tightenings you are having could be braxton hicks. I found when bubs move it would sometimes trigger braxton hicks. :)

The heartburn thing is a myth! I was kinda disappointed having so much heartburn for nothing, my baby came out bald lol! But at least you have the pic to prove it! They told me in my 3d ultrasound they didn't see any hair, so believe that before the "heartburn myth" :)

The heartburn gets worse. My son was 9'11 oz at birth and at least the last month I had to sleep practically sitting up or the burning was Soo bad I practically would throw up.

hey jess hope all is well....i had heartburn really bad too i literally couldn't eat anything or drink anything without getting it! lol but what worked best for me is to drink milk idk what u have tried or anything but drinking a lot of milk helped with mine...also i noticed in your video towards the end right aroung your belly button almost looks likes its kind or bruised???...idk it could have been the lighting or something but anyway so happy for you and try the milk idea if u haven;t already

Don't let anyone talk you into circumcising or not circumcising because that is your decision and someone's baby may have a good experience with it and someone else's baby may not so its if you feel comfortable doing.

@GabeandJesss (cont...) ... on the pediatrician doing the procedure (there's 2 ways to do the procedure) to make sure they didn't have any problems w their babies. I did for my son & the peds doc did a great job! He healed perfectly! & b/c you'll have 2 boys & a toddler, you may want to think about/look into how time consuming taking care of uncircumcised is vs. circumcised, not only right after birth but in the long-run. Obviously health is the most important & I don't judge anyone decisions

Braxton hicks sure can hurt :-) and they hurt more and more with each pregnancy... they are usually the culprit for women going to the hospital with false labor. Regarding the colostrum, every pregnancy is diff. no worries about when it shows.I never leaked pre-delivery with babies 2, 3 and 4.

They are not false contractions, it's a real contraction but it's not pain. It's just your body preparing your uterus for labor. It's normal for them to start @ 20 weeks. ;o)

hey! i was at work today (i work at target btw) and i was in the baby section where like the diapers and bottles and all that stuff is and i saw a monkey crib sheet. and a monkey blanket. just letting you know because you said you were doing a monkey theme for the boy's room :)
also, i saw a monkey crib set on clearance. i don't know if your store would have it there on not. everything's gone on clearance and it's like wiped out. :)

My heart burn was so bad. I couldnt drink water, only thicker things like milk and smoothies but I also could eat really thick things like chocolate. For the last 3 months of it i had to sleep in a recliner nearly sitting straight up. It felt like there was a ball of peanut butter in my throat. And my daughter head a full and thick head of hair. I wish i could post a pic here! Nows shes 13 months with curly hair to the middle of her back. My sister didnt have hb and her son was soo bald haha
