It's funny cause if any of you guys HAVE ever seen a first god of war PSP, you would know that under the paint, it's the deep red color.... Which means that if you remove all the paint on the cover, you could re-paint the cover Gloss Red again..... just a thought.
Mine got destoryed by food, it sucks because now it does not work and it is lost. I really loved it, because red is my favorite color, I would rather have a chip then my battery being broken :(

goto any hardware store that has that paint finder machine and get model paint in that color. it wont void your warranty and it will look good again. at least its not a big gouge out of the plastic
my psp has also been chipping and it is to a god of war addition not only is the paint chipped on the battery case but also on the umd part of it
