Stop and consider all the threats to those who have drawn Mohammad, some are in hiding because of a fatwa. What about Daniel Perl? And the Koran thing in Florida, yet they can do anything they want to my Jesus and it is free speech and freedom of expression. Say one thing about Mohammad or Allah and you get death threats. The word Islam means submission, as in submit to the will of Allah, and Allahs' will is that all the world is Muslim land and must be taken by force if need be. Early in the Qu`ran there are peaceful passages but they are superseded later on by violent ones which take precedence. This Religion of Peace business is simply a mask to cover the true nature of this violence based ideology. Please study the facts first.

Any "religion" and set of political laws that condone such violence and violations of women and children in the name of that "religion" and politics doesn't come CLOSE to our Constitution; and is more like vermin that should be exterminated that something that should be protected under that same Constitution. IF it was JUST the "religious" aspects of Islam as the praying, NOT in public streets I wouldn't have a problem,but this is far more and an evil cancer in society!

When we read the Quran we see that Mohammed was actively involved in wars and conflicts. All non believers were killed, tortured, forced to convert, etc. Even though Islam claims to be tolerant and peaceful, it is far from it.
The pattern of violence and aggressive disregard for human suffering that is persistent in Muslim history and contemporary attitude toward non-believers reflects the message of the Qur'an, which is one of personal superiority and arrogance.

I wonder if any of the people who make comments showing so much hate towards muslims and Islam have actually studied the religion. It doesn't take a genius to realize that all violence and oppression is not a practice ANY religion supports - and that includes Islam. Oppression and violence occur when politicians, governments and men distort religious teachings for their own benefit. Want to hate those acts of violence? I agree with you. Are they done because the religion says so? Not at all.

Unless you want to say that certain religions don't count, like Satanism, for example. But what would be the basis for such an exclusion? That it doesn't morally constitute a religion? @drawingmuhammad No, no. If Islam promoted such an ideal, then all of Arabia would have been Muslim during the time of Muhammad. Many non-Muslims lived amongst them. Killing the 'infidels' is a touchy verse and is one of the most misquoted verses in the Qur'an by modern critics. It takes a bit of research to be done.

@RosarioTheBoss Yes there is a context in that line, as well as many of the other verses. They pertain to certain circumstances and certain conditions, particularly in the time of war. You just don't seem to realize that. If you think that Muslims are commanded to kill all infidels wherever they may be, then you are indeed quite naive to believe such a law. The book is much more profound then what one makes it out to be. It's not just reading verses and jumping to premature conclusions.

@ISMASHYOUBRO Also, they are not just of war, rather just fighting for God in times such as the end, which is wrong no matter what context u look at it. I'm sorry to be harsh there are alot of peaceful verses in there but I'm just saying you can't deny some of the violence preached because it is there and it is what it is. For example, “Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him.” (Hadith Al Buhkari vol. 9:57). There's no way someone can say you misinterpreted this.
