  • Now i live in seoul and i cand find tissue every toilet whether its public or not. Maybe you have been to only very secluded and nasty places.

  • question: no TP in korea because it's just not the culture to provide it or it all gets stollen

  • The reason why is because Korea is 30~40 years behind Japan.

  • oh god that brings back memories of Viet Nam, 5 minutes before an ESL class im in the bathroom and guess what wasnt there!

  • This is the South Korean quality too :D

  • That's suprising...

  • So funny. So true. I left Korea 20 years ago, but ah sweet memories... Of course I carried my Kleenex all the time. Sorry you had to go through that.

  • hahahhahahaha no emotion on his face(real korean culture) hahahahah

  • wash ur ass then :D hahahahaha european freaks :D u speak like since the beginnin of time, there were malls and toilet papers :D u westerns didnt even know about toilet :D proof is ur castles without toilets :D thank god, u learned alittle after ur crusaders came back, and ottomans helped u alot for ur public baths and sewers

  • hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. thanks for the tip

  • hahahaha really? thats amazing

  • omg sooo true~~~ i remember i went to korea to visit relatives and all of them warned me to carry those tissues from gas stations around or just the roll

  • nice hair haha

  • OMG you´re suck an asshole!!! get a life and fill it with toilet paper!!

  • This is no joke! Nothing worse than having to drip dry!! lol

  • It's actually easiest to carry a small package of "tissues" (It's a cross between a Kleenex and TP). It's far more portable than a large roll, and there are other benefits beyond what one can see. I've survived many months in China's rural areas. Trust me, that stuff is really useful.

  • Where exactly do you carry a role of TP? Do you have a TP purse? Or have it hanging from your pants on a chain? I would think it would come in a fold-able style so you could carry with you in your pockets.

  • Since you are English teacher in Korea, I would like to advise you that know the correct definition of always and sometimes please. (no offense)

  • I am Korean. And I want to say that what you are saying are partly truth, but you are obviously exaggerating. yes. unlike Canada, there are some stupid washrooms that do not have damn toilet paper. However, I do not agree that even malls don't have toilet paper. There are toilet papers in malls and most of restarant these days. In seoul, where is the capital of Korea, I dont think people dont put toilet paper in washrooms. You are in rural side of Korea right now.

  • Good thing to know, I always need tissue, thanks!

  • LOL !! I know it seem that way sometimes but it's not always true.

  • also, can you flush the toilet paper? because Ive seen what toilet paper over their is like and Ive seen that their suppose put them in cans, it was in china but it was still the same continent.

  • reminds me of the movie where you never leave home with out your towel.

  • does it ever get to 40 degrees?

  • OMG I LOVE THESE ur vids r great!!!!!!!! 5 stars

  • Lol, that's not true! Sometimes there's toilet paper... ...but yes one should always carry a role. Your videos are very funny. Keep up the good work!

  • lol im postin a comment on all ur vids sayin the funny, and the are !!

  • thanks.

i have a lot of fun making them, too. (except for the wasabi one. that was not a fun experience.)

  • after researching extensivly at dave's esl cafe for the past couple months, this is the GREATEST advice that i have come upon thus far!

  • im glad to hear it. i find a lot of the people on daves esl cafe to be very arrogant. each one believes their method is the only one that works. every time i post a question or suggestion, it gets flamed because i'm not completely obsessed with the 'TPR method'

    ....grrr...

its a great job board, though.

  • what are you supposed to do, carry a bag with all your supplies all day every day?

  • yes.

at all times, i carry with me a camera bag, which contains: sunglasses, and umbrella, toilet paper, my nintendo DS, and a pen.

  • Hey i'm visiting korea with my girlfriend for 3 weeks (July 22 to August 12) and I never leave home without TP even in the states haha. Another good thing to carry are baby wipes! The huggies here are so nice I almost feel bad throwing them away. I have a medical condition though so that's why I always carry these things (Crohn's Disease). My girlfriend and I are wondering WHERE YOU FOUND YOUR BUBBLE TEA SUPPLIES! We have been googling "bubble tea seoul" and can't find a single place!

  • i actually got the taro and tapioca back in Toronto, before i came to Korea.

i haven't found any bubble tea for sale in Korea yet. i did find one shop that was advertising bubble tea, but when i asked for it, they just said 'opsoyo' (I don't have)

  • Haha my worst related experience was in Tunisia- most places have just a hose for washing, which might be okay if you're commando under a skirt to airdry, but if you're in trousers, everything gets wet. Not female friendly! Plus the toilets don't flush, you just force contents down with the water pressure from the hose, so it never empties completely. Plus some places didn't have drains in the floor so you were standing in the water anyway!

  • that sounds quote unpleasant

ive seen toilets here that are just a hole in the ground, a bucket, and a hose. scary.
