wash ur ass then :D hahahahaha european freaks :D u speak like since the beginnin of time, there were malls and toilet papers :D u westerns didnt even know about toilet :D proof is ur castles without toilets :D thank god, u learned alittle after ur crusaders came back, and ottomans helped u alot for ur public baths and sewers
omg sooo true~~~ i remember i went to korea to visit relatives and all of them warned me to carry those tissues from gas stations around or just the roll
It's actually easiest to carry a small package of "tissues" (It's a cross between a Kleenex and TP). It's far more portable than a large roll, and there are other benefits beyond what one can see. I've survived many months in China's rural areas. Trust me, that stuff is really useful.
Where exactly do you carry a role of TP? Do you have a TP purse? Or have it hanging from your pants on a chain? I would think it would come in a fold-able style so you could carry with you in your pockets.
I am Korean. And I want to say that what you are saying are partly truth, but you are obviously exaggerating. yes. unlike Canada, there are some stupid washrooms that do not have damn toilet paper. However, I do not agree that even malls don't have toilet paper. There are toilet papers in malls and most of restarant these days. In seoul, where is the capital of Korea, I dont think people dont put toilet paper in washrooms. You are in rural side of Korea right now.
also, can you flush the toilet paper? because Ive seen what toilet paper over their is like and Ive seen that their suppose put them in cans, it was in china but it was still the same continent.
im glad to hear it. i find a lot of the people on daves esl cafe to be very arrogant. each one believes their method is the only one that works. every time i post a question or suggestion, it gets flamed because i'm not completely obsessed with the 'TPR method'
Hey i'm visiting korea with my girlfriend for 3 weeks (July 22 to August 12) and I never leave home without TP even in the states haha. Another good thing to carry are baby wipes! The huggies here are so nice I almost feel bad throwing them away. I have a medical condition though so that's why I always carry these things (Crohn's Disease). My girlfriend and I are wondering WHERE YOU FOUND YOUR BUBBLE TEA SUPPLIES! We have been googling "bubble tea seoul" and can't find a single place!
i actually got the taro and tapioca back in Toronto, before i came to Korea.
i haven't found any bubble tea for sale in Korea yet. i did find one shop that was advertising bubble tea, but when i asked for it, they just said 'opsoyo' (I don't have)
Haha my worst related experience was in Tunisia- most places have just a hose for washing, which might be okay if you're commando under a skirt to airdry, but if you're in trousers, everything gets wet. Not female friendly! Plus the toilets don't flush, you just force contents down with the water pressure from the hose, so it never empties completely. Plus some places didn't have drains in the floor so you were standing in the water anyway!
Now i live in seoul and i cand find tissue every toilet whether its public or not. Maybe you have been to only very secluded and nasty places.

question: no TP in korea because it's just not the culture to provide it or it all gets stollen
inkey2 2 weeks ago
The reason why is because Korea is 30~40 years behind Japan.
