I just picked up a 1999 ram 1500 with the 360 and headers but the guy before me only put a glasspack on it up to the box about and the truck has no power when I kick it down, would exhaust solve it or do you think there's something else wrong? It seems to run good.

@onlydarkguard8 If you haven't had the speedometer recalibrated for those 35's then the programmer would do that for you otherwise it doesn't really help.

I had a '99 1500 5.2 V8 with straight pipes, magnaflow tips, and no muffler. it was a beast. i had the cops called on me a few times. i had to sell her though she was only 2 wheel drive :(

The only bad part about headers is that they are considerably thinner than the stock manifolds.. with that being said, they rust out alot faster than you'd think. Your Ram sounds amazing man, I like it alot.

Sounds too redneck, like an old farm truck. You need to dump the glasspacks and go with Magnaflows, or at least some Flowmaster 50's. My 2000 has true duals, Edelbrock headers, and dual Flow 50's. None of that snappy farm truck sound. My 96, well, it's in whole other leage. Watch my vids if you want to hear a LOUD Ram..... LOL

sounds good. put a magnaflow cat on it and it will sound good. If you run a dummy O2 sensor you will be okay removing the cat, but removing the cat will lower the backpressure and you will loose low end power and gas milage. the older second generation dodges(94-95 i think) dont have sensors after the cat and you shouldnt run into any problems, but after those yeats they started using a sensor before and after.

im runnin stock pipe back to where the stock muffler was and i cut it off and used a y-pipe to run duals out the back. stock cat on mine as well. you gotta love that mopar muscle sound!!

Here in europe are mostly toys with boring 1.4L engine - and then you get a bad headache because of this shit. =( They make a sound wich is like, if you tread on the tail of the cat! And then the second option are some 2.0 or more litres diesel engines.. again just one piece of crap! You must bi sick to drive that.
