  • j'ai apris de l anglais en regardan une video pour le francais

  • thanks ALOT remy! i used them all for my boy friend! :)

  • Excelente curso. Veamos qué aprendo hoy.

    ¡Muchas gracias jremy!

  • what does Ne mean literally when negating

  • tu est la plus belle du monde ... ça marche aussi? parce que j'ai jaimais entendu 'au monde'... mais je suis pas française lol

  • @xMahliqax

Tu peux dire les deux. You can say "au monde" ou "du monde" but it(s not the same sense (sorry for my English)

  • Tu dois mettre un trait d'union entre veux et tu parce que c'est un inversion n'est pas?

  • thank you soooo muchhh remyyyyyyyyy, im waiting anxiously for lesson 19! btw, how do i subscribe??

  • Tu parles bien la langue amoureuse française !

  • Salut, Remy! J'aime beaucoup vos lecons. Mais ou est la lecon 18? Merci beaucoup.

  • Tu oublis t'est tirets parfois mais bon, bonne leçon!

  • "tes" pas "t'es" ;)

  • @Technologiclongboard

Et toi tu écris mal, désolé.

  • it's so beautiful and sexy! my girl speaks french to me and i melt in her arms :)))

  • oublie pas les tirets pour l'inversion du sujet :)

bon travail t'es professionnel avant j'ai regardé les vidéos d'une de tes "collègues " et j'ai bien ri xD

    bravo en tout cas tchô

  • how do you say "i think of you every day" ?

  • Je pense à toi tous les jours.

  • Remy

could you say "J'aime toi de tout mon coeur." or does that even make sense?

  • You would be understood most likely BUT it is incorrect French. You should say:

"Je t'aime de tout mon coeur"

    "That's French for ya!"

    Rémy

  • Shouldn't "de" in

'Je t'aime de tout mon coeur'

be "avec" since it means 'with'?

'I love you with all my heart?'

  • In this case "de" means "from"

  • No, those expressions are slightly different in different languages, so it should be "Je t'aime de tout mon coeur" in French, if you said "avec mon coeur" in French it would sound to the French as if someone said "i love you of all my heart" to you in English. Languages don't translate word-by-word but change whole phrases, that's why machine translation is impossible.

  • ¿Porqué no decir "Tu et Moi? ¿Or Tu et Je?

    ¿Existe una regla de cuando usar Toi/Moi o Tu/Je?

    Gracias.

  • La norma es que cuando usted tiene "y" entre el "je" y "tu", se convierte en "Toi et moi". "je et il" se convierte en "lui et moi". "je et elle" se convierte en "Elle et moi".

  • Gracias jremy, buena ayuda para ir entendiendo los detalles del idioma..

  • Hello, I'm french and I speak english too, if someone want to talk on MSN ( with the voice ), I can teach you a little french and learn english ! ^^ Just send me a message on youtube !

  • hey.. i want to learn!!! XD

  • omg, the best language ever

  • As a native French Canadian speaker, I'm glad to read that. :P French is a very beautifull language. All languages are beautifull in their way. For all those who can read this, why do you like French ?

  • ur the best remy. i find the "r" so hard to pronounce, i mean saying it too lightly like in the word "train".. ur great though!!

  • hi Remy, could u explain me why toi et moi instead of tu et moi

    Tnks!

  • It's one of those thing that you just learn "as is". It comes down to grouping two subject pronouns together with the word "et" which means "and".

You and I = toi et moi (in that order)

Me and him = lui et moi (in that order)

She and I = elle et moi (in that order)

You and him = lui et toi (in that order)

Can you guess "She and you"?

  • hmm not at all =(

    elle et toi

    elle et lui

    je ne sois pas..

well whatever i wanna give u tnks cuz with ur help now je parle a petit pua français... merci Remy...

Oh.. i'v seen all ur lessons why did u stop? There r a lot of basic things to learn

    tnks for help us against

    Au revoir

  • elle et toi?

  • I think it is a great supplement of words, not even talking about the application or purpose of someone's request.

Rémy, tu es un instituteur étonnant. Merci beaucoup pour les leçons!

  • REMY, mercy , I am learning french like never before.. you are a great teacher.. je suis guatemalan, le francais ce te facil..je ne peux pas vivre sans francais..

  • i thought this was the 2nd part for basic french lesson 10 LOL...

  • bonne nuit remy, how can i say kiss or kisses.

    muchas gracias por tus videos!

  • "Je t'embrasse"

  • really... so that's what it means. I had no idea until now, even though I keep hearing it in the song "Lady Marmalade."

that's hot. (as Paris would say).

  • what does voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir mean?

  • You're the first YouTuber to ask me that.

It means "Do you want to sleep with me?" and does have a sexual connotion.

  • It means.. Would you like to sleep with me tonight? LOL

  • Tres bien, merci!

  • Merci Beaucoup XD

  • Hey... I speak portuguese, Spanish, English and Italian and now I'm trying to learn French. I have on question: Lequel, que, quel, comme, comment... It's all sounding very confusing to me... How do I know how to use them... I mean: Que, qual? Is there an easy way to lern em? Bisou. Merci
  • J'aime les bonus videos! =)

  • I am French and look for one correspondents speaking about English because I have a lot of problem to speak about it. In exchange I can teach you French. Thank's

  • T'as un accent français bizarre je trouve, tu viens d'ou? ^^

  • Paris

  • J'ai beaucoup aimé vos vidéos. J'apprend le français depuis que j'avais six ans. Mais j'ai une question:

Peut-on dire "Tu es le plus belle du monde"?

Je n'ai jamais rencontré ce phrase "tu es... au monde". Merci!

  • As far as I know it has to be "au monde" :-)

  • In Quebec you'd hear things like "t'es la plusse belle du monde" but it doesn't make it right.

  • doesn't est-ce que tu veux... mean do you want...?

  • Correct :-)

  • On dit plutôt : "tu es LA plus belle du/au monde." "du" et "au" sont tout deux acceptables. On dit aussi : "tu es LE plus beau du/au monde".

  • Thanks bro, this'll help me A lot.

  • Can you say, "Je suis de..."

    As in, I am from?

  • I think so but if you're talking about cities or regions. Otherwise you'd say "je viens de": I'm coming from.

  • hi remy you said i love you with all my heart but you put je t'aime de tout mon coeur should that be je t'aime avec tout de mon coeur

  • de tout mon coeur: from the bottom of my heart.

Translation is a tricky thing :-)

    Good eye though!

  • remy, you´re the man!...thanks for teaching us

  • Bonjour Remy, j'ai suivi vos videos avec grand interet, bien que je sois français j'y trouve aussi mon compte car la Langue française reste bien tordue, même pour les français ^^ vivement les videos 11 et12 !

Ps : if anyone wants to improve his french i've got msn.

  • Merci :)

French is a lot fun but also hard for me.

But I've just started in November. Your a great teacher keep it up!

  • Learning a second language is one of the hardest thing to do but it can be made easier :-)

  • hi Remy, French is my fourth language, but i still find it to be harder than all the others. the most troublesome part for me is the pronunciation.

  • No doubt about it. French ain't easy :-)

I'm trying to make it easier to learn though :-)

  • Great videos!!! Keep it up.

As I'm new to speaking French can you guide me a little here please. In the video you said " Tu Es La Plus Belle Au Monde." If I wanted to add girl would I then say it like this, " Tu Es Fille La Plus Belle Au Monde."? anyhelp would be great thanks Merci :)

  • Thank you for you comment :-)

    You would say:

"Tu es la plus belle fille au monde"

  • Merci quand meme! Bonne continuation!

  • Est-ce que l'on pourrait aussi dire "tu es la plus belle DU monde"??

Une autre exemple: Paris et la ville la plus belle du/au monde?

Au fait Remy j'aime bien vos videos, moi je suis etudiant de francais a la fac en ecosse et j'aime tout l'aide que l'on m'offre! Donc merci encore!!!

  • Somehow la plus belle du monde doesn't sound right to my french ear but it might be correct. I'm not sure :-)

  • I lovedddddddddd your video

    just a question..."Are you american? 'cause speaking french..I noticed..that.

  • thank you sir. you are an incredible teacher. do you teach french for a living? i imagine that you are, but if you are not, you should be. very good teaching tactics.

  • Hello Remi!!!All of your videos are really informative!!No word would be enough to praise you!!Could you upload some lessons on past and future Tense of verb?Thank you and all the best.

  • We'll get to that :-)

  • encore une foi un lesson qui brille par sont utilité et sa précision, mais tout le monde le dit alors ça perd un peu de sa valeur ^^ peut-être devrait ils savoir qu'en france il y à un mot doux très affectioné des couples : " ma puce" . je doute que ça soit utilisé en anglais et ça sonne très mignon en français = )

  • What will happen when they find out that "ma puce" means "my flea" :-)

  • en français c'est super mignon = )

  • Rémy, im going to france with my girlfriend and im going to propose under the eiffel tower to her, how do i propose in french? Merci

  • Veux tu devenir ma femme?

  • thank you remy your are my hero

  • "Veux tu m'épouser ?" if you are un gentlman.

  • salamat ulit Remy!

  • Remy, ick. I guess I'm a bit beyond this. How do you say, "it's a real turn on to see my man vacuum the carpet?" he he : )

  • "Ca m'excite de voir mon homme passer l'aspirateur"

  • uh...that was kind of a rhetorical question but thanks anyway : )

  • Même si je n'ai pas besoin de regarder tes vidéos du faite que je suis française et que je vis en france mais d'un côté j'essai de perfectionner mon anglais lol
