i just got a ps3 and i just got the new socom..i was a hardcore socom 2 player and socom is why i bought ps3..i heard it wasnt that good but still maybe the next will be better.plus i had an xbox 360 and it red ringed 4 times so im done with xbox back to my roots with the ps3...but damm these updates are taking forever...first system update twice..then install the game or some sh!t now its 2 socom updates.well at least my headset is getting time to charge says 3hr charge time prolly gettin there

i know right!! The F90, damn FN-P90. RA-14 is OC14 Groza. AG94 is AN94 Abakan. IW80A2, is Enfeild L85A2. SASR is Dragunov SVD. RTK is RPK. HK5, how can they get H&K-MP5 wrong. I hope Zipper made the NEW developers Slant Six fix all that

MashPotato, The rights to use a firearm is in its Design not name. If i was gonna make a lawsuit i'de go after the Design infingment not the name. Plus they use H&K Heckler& Koch(Coke) in the name anyway, most likely not about the rights but a mix or abbreviation in weapon name research

The IMAGE or LIKENESS of a weapon can NOT be internationally copyrighted, this is why the Chinese have cheap AK 47 and other Russian knockoffs that Kalashnikov himself cannot stand because they are such poor quality. They get away with it, because they use different names.

Guys, they KNOW the names of the guns. I know the people that do the weapons research for Zipper, as well as I am a Weapons Technician myself.

They know the names of the weapons. They do not use the real names due to copyright and licensing issues.

However, that does not excuse them for ALWAYS using the G36c and not the G36K(Built in optical sight, medium to long range use weapon) As opposed to the G36c-that is an indoors, short range use ONLY Weapon, with no scope, shorter barrel & less ammo.

Actually it's a G36C. They changed the name to HK36 in SOCOM because they don't have the rights to Heckler and Koch's firearms.
