  • The assclown went all Alan Partdridge on us.

  • Global Cooling Wrecks havoc in Europe

Europe sends in ice-breakers to battle big chill

By Stephanie van den Berg (AFP)

BELGRADE — Authorities used everything from ice-breaking explosives to tractors on Tuesday to overcome Europe's big freeze, as dozens more died of hypothermia and tens of thousands remained cut off by snow.

A total of 389 people are now known to have died from the cold weather in Europe since the cold snap began with some of the lowest temperatures seen in decades.

  • Peter Lorre lives. How does this guy get himself taken seriously? His arguments are bilge, his data is nonexistent, and there is nothing charismatic or interesting about him. It's very interesting to see that he has made a splash, when so many talented people haven't.

  • @Peregrinusexpectavi

if you're willing to say anything, you can find someone who will pay you to do it.

  • @elmsy21 Lord Monckton is unfortunately a very real idiot. He may act like a character in a bad movie or comedy show at times, but he has been bothering England and the world with his ignorant nonsense ever since he worked for Margaret Thatcher's government in the 80s..

  • @elmsy21 What are you talking about? What does Moncton's running around denying climate change and lying about it in the process have to do with films?

  • So when are you covering James Delingpole as promised here? Looking forward to it eagerly.

  • Antarctic sea ice is increasing. What have you Monckton hating, no-nothing climate alarmists got to say about that?

Shall I talk about the hockey stick fakery by one of your alarmist 'scientists'?

Or the climate gate emails which proved your alarmist scientists are perverting real science?

No one is buying your junk science anymore. So all you can do is post up bitter videos and bitch about Lord Monckton.

    You've lost. Live with it.

  • @LightmanTruth

you should really do some research before you embarrass yourself here like this.

"antarctic ice" google Cryosphere today - check the lower right for total global sea ice from the U of illinois -- total is decreasing.

    hockey stick- start here

    watch?v=tz8Ve6KE-Us

    "climate gate" nonsense here -

    watch?v=P70SlEqX7oY

    watch?v=eJFZ88EH6i4

    watch?v=5WvasALL-hw

then if you'd like to actually cite something, as I have here, instead of just bloviating, then bring it, blowhard.

  • @LightmanTruth Pity you didn't look up Antarctic LAND ICE which is 1000 times bigger/thicker than the sea ice and losing ice at an accelerating rate.

  • He looks like an alien.

  • I would love to meet "lord"Moncton in a dark alley and knock those bulging eyeballs right into the back of his empty fucking head.

potholer54 and potholer54debunks, a youtuber that is a professional and experienced science journalist, has a series on Moncton that shows him for the lying bastard he really is.

  • @christo930 he claims he was cured from a thyroid condition with his own miracle cure... if he was cured, wouldn't those eyes re-seat into the sockets..? =o) Monckton, a lying "lord wanna-be" twat.

  • @Paxmax Yes, I know a girl a who has a thyroid condition and she has the bulging eyes but it still very attractive, so I never put 2 and 2 together (that he might have a thyroid condition). Either way he is a lying scumbag..

  • Oh my sweet happy Christ you have all been trolled SO hard...I've never seen longer Youtube comments arguing back and forth about absolute nonsense. This is a video about a great man, and soon the world will see just how great he truly is. Mark my words.

  • @ih8stuff3 He isnt a lord, the house of lords sent him a letter which was a cease and desist letter about him using the title of 'lord'. Secondly you sound like those people who thought judgement day was happening aand the end of the world. If Monckton is right great woo hoo everything is cured no global warming but at the moment he is just telling false claims and lies.

  • @ih8stuff3 I can see that you have actually taken the time to research these matters The commenter s here are either empty headed parrots repeating what they hear on the propaganda box or they have a vested interest in the lies perpetuated by elitist parasites, The scum of the earth is now laid bare , all that remains is for us to clean it up See video _ courts afraid of us now and the lawful bank | Warmest regards

  • On the subject of climate change and also his medical claims, Monckton is a liar, a fraud, a quack. Now hopefully he will sue me (as he's always threatening to do but never does) so I can prove it in court. I won't hold my breath.

  • @greenman: Peter, what happened to that little indie BBC documentary on Monckton? It's seems to be gone from YouTube! Could Monckton have gotten it spiked?

  • @nickschor1

well, it's on a lot of hard drives, so they can't make it completely go away.

  • @dfg93353 ; Exactly so! Science is predicated upon consensus: it's what science "does."

  • Science are in consensus that gravity exists...

  • You got to give it to Monckton, he's a slick PR merchant with an amazing ability to distort and mislead. Whereas Delingpole is just stupid.

  • Ah, great, now people can freely use drug without fear.

  • Most people have little or no understanding of what science is, what it does or how it works. Climate "skeptics" use sophistry and pseudo-science to dazzle their followers and reinforce opinions.

In the Tea-Party movement, debate has digressed to freedom vs tyranny, complete with the incitement of armed violence against scientists.

Like in the 1936 movie "Things to Come", in a future world, a mindless mob with a distrust of science, tries to prevent the launch of a space program.

  • The only thing Monkton has found a cure for is intelligence.

  • So, do not forget, or allow your intelligent head to be turned by the GIMMICK that is LORD MUCK. The GIMMICK takes advantage of our fascination in watching his exploding head teeter on actually EXPLODING. His eyes are rivetting and he know this. Otherwise he would have his medical codition (his thyroid) treated. But he has cottoned onto a new money making scheme. And I AM HEREIN helping him. The worst thing is not being talked about... Lord who? Lord Eyeballs who?

  • He (MOCKINGTON) becomes both the Interviewed & Interviewer by becoming both Commentator & Journalist. A journalist has the power to re-report his mistakes & do it in a way that TURNS the HEAD of the Public. To make us forget his/her shit. Lord MUCK THRIVES on BAD News about his failures & he uses as a treat the appearance of his exploding head as a deflection. The power a Journalist & Lord Muck weild is simple in its application. They are never wrong ENOUGH that it stops the money flowing in.

  • To mock Monckton by calling him His Serene Highness is not strictly correct. We Australians still have ancient linguistic ties to the Mother land, which the citizens of the All Powerful and Picture Perfect USA have lost. To be properly ironic the video commentary ought to be call him something else. Such as, His Majestic Highness. Or simply, his Highness Lord Muck. Personally, I find it hard to take him seriously because I'm worried he's about to explode! Then I'm very disappointed he hasn't.

  • Lord Monckton? No no no, Lord Muckton. Or Lord MUCK for short. Isn't his eyes scary? Not that I condemn him because he has scary Betty Davis eyes. Oh no! Because his ILK "are" insane. Otherwise they would also deny RELATIVITY used to make satellite navigation possible. So, SPECIALIST climate scientists should (LOGICALLY) be granted THE SAME respect. Eg: Your cardiologists says he KNOWS what's wrong with you. And you say: But your just using charts & stuff, Mr arsehole Scientist = Insanity 101.

  • I hope Mr. Delingpole sought counseling after that intellectual raping.

  • Greenman I've watched your videos and torn you to shreds in debate. You're the guy that reads graphs and data sheets then supports the establishment.

If you had any true scientific background, where as I am an electronics tech and study all fields of science diligently, you would understand that it's theoretical and the "laws" are based on predicable behaviors under approximate conditions.

You're just saying "this man is a liar" you're not providing evidence and it's all you ever do.

  • @JonDeth

so you believe he has a cure for HIV?

contact me. I have a real estate transaction to discuss.

  • @greenman3610 I made no comments about him, I made comments about you.

Will Al Gore be involved in your real estate transactions?

  • @JonDeth

it's kind of secret, but it involves a bridge. I also have a kenyan bank account in your name, if you act fast.

  • @greenman3610 glad you finally opened up in front of your subscribers and showed them the nature of your logic when you make your propaganda videos.

  • @JonDeth Jon, let us try to get back on track here. What specific problems do you have with Greenman's video?

  • @upsilon054 he's spewing propaganda.

He's imposing what is nothing but sales dialog and asserting that these opinions and slander serve as conclusive evidence of his claims or the material he is backing. It's absurd.

We live in a society far too advanced for all these single sided stories and public servants that are in truth, criminals which is easily proven.

I stumble on greenman's videos from time to time. He's arrogant and delusional but it also proves he's one more of their victims.

  • @JonDeth No, Geenman posted subsets of videos of Delingpole and Monckton. Delingpole could not cogently answer Paul Nurse's question, and Monckton claims to have a cure for HIV, which, if true, would probably garner him a Nobel Prize in medicine. Let me ask you this. You have a problem in thinking that climate change and evolution is true. Yet you are strangely silent on Monckton's fantastic claims. Why do you believe Monckton?

  • @upsilon054 you just avoid the point I have made repeatedly.

Anyone as smart and dignified as these people claim are willing to say I do not know or we suspect or we believe but they never do. It is always dictated to us in a manner of from God's lips to my ears.

You fail to understand you have both the right and the option to decide you do not believe either side and I can assure you, the earth will not die from it nor will the species disappear.

A liar's position is that it factually will.

  • @JonDeth Are you saying there are no agreed facts? Or even no proven facts? Except the facts that you have personally varified by your senses of touch, taste, sight etc? Are you saying that highly educated, and as in my case, much more educated and intelligent scientist - but not necessarily having more common senses than me - are so corrupted and untrustworthy that they collectively & secretly conspire to deceive the world about the facts? And you say the species will not disappear?

  • @JonDeth Nobody thinks that scientists are gods, least of all the scientists. I'm not sure where you are getting that idea. Trust me, I am quite cognizant of my right to disagree, but I also have a right to defer to experts who are more knowledgable than I am on any given subject.

Once again, you seem to be getting careless with language. Who are you calling a liar?

  • @upsilon054 I do an awful lot of work in various forms of science. There are two types of scientists. Those that know nothing is absolute and those that have a complex and use science as another form of oppression. Everything in science is faith based. All your laws in math are based on the first law of - times a + meaning, change the way that rule works and all the other rules are now invalid.

Create a new form of math, you create conflicting variations of scientific laws yet both will work.

  • @JonDeth

there you have it, ladies and gentlemen.

  • @greenman3610

    Christopher Hitchins?

  • @JonDeth Science is not faith-based! Science is based on measurment and the collection of empirical data. No empirical data and no measurement means no science. Nobody has said anything about the laws of mathematics. Where are you getting this from?

  • @upsilon054 all Greenman and people like Al Gore are ever doing is taking data records from measuring devices and interpreting that data into charts, graphs etc by basing it all on what can be accepted as a sensible theory. Sensible theories are very common and more often than proven right, proven inconclusive which in truth, means proven wrong and inconclusive is just a means of denying it.

This is just saying look, we caught him off guard and called him a lot of names. I proved my claim!

  • @JonDeth Hold on. I am afraid that you did not address any of my points.

  • @JonDeth I am somewhat sorry to say this. Because I strongly suspect you are sincere. But you seem to find it hard to believe in anything other people believe because, we are all untrustworthy. Well there are people who lie. Some lie as a profession just as there is FAKE wrestling. Yet some peole BELIEVE it is REAL or an ACT, like in a play at the theatre. But be assured of one thing from me. More people are honest & sincere than liers & deceivers & Species are going extinct alarmingly to me.

  • @JonDeth The Establishment? That expression is a little old fashioned, don't you think? The Medical Establishment BELIEVED peptic ulsers had no infectious cause because no-one could find any. Not because they conspired to make patients suffer. Climatologists say CO2 in the atmosphere affects the way the sun's energy warms the Earth. Lord MUCK can not persuade any of them to err. AND he CONSTANTLY misquotes one scientis after another- as proved over & over elsewhere many times over - Mr. Popeye!

  • @listen2meokidoki yes as in established complete control by always professing that they have all he answers. Of course they once insisted there was no bacterial cause behind GI ulcers inability to heal, they would have to admit "we don't know" and that is not something your god and master can EVER admit unless they want the people to question them more and stop following their lies blindly.

You're way out of your league.

  • @JonDeth That's interesting. Did you "tear Greenman apart" the same way you "tore me apart"? LOL. Oh, and I forgot to ask, who do you see when you become ill?

  • @upsilon054 it was far worse than the humiliation you suffered since he's the one behind these propaganda videos. The fact remains, you're both practicing the same behavior, monkey see monkey do.

All he does is make personal attacks without actually providing evidence about those he seeks to discredit. Then in terms of the propaganda he perpetuates about global warming, it's equally as unreliable. He repeats data posted online or from news reels and insists that it's unquestionable proof.

  • @JonDeth Mockington's technique is simple. TALK! Just talk. The SOAP BOX is alive and well. One used to HAVE TO go (in Sydney) to the Domain (a public park) on Sundays to hear public RANTING. Now they hire Town Halls because the MARKET for all this has been generated (or created) increasingly by the Internet etc. And we have more surplus time & money to spend on the amusement of NEWS & SPECULATION, which is the ENEMY of Calm...And MOCKINGTON becomes both the Interviewed & interviewer....!

  • @listen2meokidoki I'm not making Mockington the topic, I'm making Greenman and his ridiculous propaganda videos the topic. Mockington may be a quack but I have no vested interest in what he is saying.

We are living in an age of professing that has no foundation. It's just a mocking bird effect from someone who believes the establishments are trustworthy. Meanwhile, we have all the documentation proving they are not

I do not like one sided stories, especially when they are just sales jargon

  • @upsilon054

I love it when he tears me apart.

    Please keep tearing me apart.

  • It's funny. I sometimes blog on a Catholic website on climate science, evolution, and other scientific issues. It is strange and disturbing to note that there is almost a pathological distrust of science and scientists in the people I converse with. The irony is that they directly use the science that they so distrust via the use of computers to deny that science is of little importance in their lives.

  • @upsilon054

and ask them if they go see a doctor when they are sick.....

  • @greenman3610 I think someone actually did that. I should point out that not everybody there thinks like that. *I* don't think like that. As for the others, it is interesting. Some of them have this calvinistic belief that the rich are rich, the poor are poor because that is the way God wants it. They also believe that man can do no harm to the Earth. Apparently, they never heard of the Aral Sea. And anyone who disagrees with them is a *liberal*. Ugh!

  • @upsilon054 the science in computers is completely irrelevant to the pseudo science used behind biology and weather. They are merely using devices to record data which is then compared against THEORETICAL data collected off THEORETICAL ancient sources.

So all they really have is numbers produced by circuit technology that are compared against theory.

When this is done and there is no OPTION, it's tyranny and control, not intelligence and sensibility.

    They violate the scientific method.

  • @JonDeth With all due respect, sir, what you wrote is nonsense. You clearly do not understand the scientific method.

  • @upsilon054 spare me your idiocy. I have more hours logged than you waste on video games and sports TV. Unlike the citizens such as yourself, I do not watch corporate television, films or listen to corporate radio.

I see the world from a VERY unbiased position.

You're just a monkey see monkey do loud mouth.

All your kind has to offer is dangerous obedience.

  • @JonDeth This is interesting. You seem to think you know all about my life, even though you do not know who I am, my name, or anything else about me. Indeed, we have never met before this, either here or anywhere else. Some of the rest of us see the world from a very unbiased position, too. And we know enough not to call complete strangers names in a public forum. Nevertheless, your outburst here is revealing. I suspect Greenman briefly debated you, and decided not to further waste his time.

  • @upsilon054 based on your prior statements and accusation you made about me, I know enough to have basis for the categorical affiliations I asserted about your character and intelligence.

    You are mono-brained.

I made relations of your intelligence and stated the obvious, you're a loud mouth.

All are descriptions, not name calling. I did not once call you a name.

  • @JonDeth I didn't make any comments about *you*. I also didn't accuse you of anything. I'm not sure what is going on here, but really, you need to take care.

  • @upsilon054 you professed that I know nothing about the scientific method.

My professions were based on your gross misunderstanding of electronic test equipment, the formulas and methods behind their engineering and the fact that the data they are producing is generally being put up against theoretical data to produce these conclusions you have adhered to.

I simply know better and I was calling you out on your ignorance since your comment stands top of the heap.

  • @JonDeth I never said anything about *electronic test equipment*. You'd better read what I wrote again. And once again, you know nothing of my background or education, so you have no basis for comparison.

  • @upsilon054 "The irony is that they directly use the science that they so distrust via the use of computers."

That sir, is EXACTLY what you said in that statement and so much more because it was such a blind, over generalizing statement. It's inclusive of more than just I.C. based technologies. It's not the same science if you want to use a specifics defense. It's the same technology but engineered for user defined purposes, many of which require outboard hardware additions.

    Please stop.

  • @JonDeth Yeah, SO???

  • @upsilon054 Perhaps there has always been, & always will be a certain percentage of people who are contrarian. In primary school we were read a short story called, "On The Contrary'. A pompous Englishman on a ship with others of his ilk sails the Red sea & insists; "On the contrary. I nice hot cup of tea in the middle of the day is COOLING". Lord Muck is a total (absolute) FRAUD & I will not tolerate a contrary opinion. If MUCKINGTON lies, is he not a bloody rotten liar=an arsehole swindler?

  • Personally, I think Lord Muckton would make a good Governor general. Of Canada.

  • No! I take that back. He ought to be the Governor General (if one still exists) of the Bahamas, following in the footsteps of that Nazi King of England who had a fetish for older dominant women. What's his name. The one who did all that Kinging & stuff before WW2. Personally, I thought someone like Mozart would have done a better job of Kinging with that funny laugh he could have brought to the job of KINGING. Moncton of course would be (I mean is) only good at MUCKING about - in atmospheres.

  • Would someone PLEASE do a MOCK video of MUNKINTON's head exploding at the peak of one of his rants?

  • @Stillwater900 i get your fears of social oppression. historically we have seen that happen in places such as eastern europe with the former USSR, where democracies such as the US were portrayed as hostile opressors to unite people with what ultimately proved to be a self serving regime. i'm not your opponent my friend. i encourage you to keep at it, seek answers, seek the truth. passionate individuals are why we succeed. if you're in touch with reality, eventually you'll prevail

  • @kielrhys Well, thats not the response I usually get. Thank you

  • @Stillwater900 "What is the root of this? Did your mother call you stupid?" that's what we all do. it's what drives us to question. no one wants to be the villiage idiot. when something doesn't make sense we vocalise it. we're all the villiage idiot in one way or another. in the same way we're all intelligent. we know some things, we don't know others. that's why you said it to get greenmans attention, you know it in yourself and wanted to vocalise your uncertanties to reassure yourself

  • i can see what delingpole means when he says science is not about concensus. it is good that skeptics exists, they're just becoming less relevant as people become more self aware - these days most scientists are their own internal skeptic, but traditionally it hasn't always been the case. it seems like the climate skeptics are just getting in the way but in reality they're driving progress, challenging and strengthening the cause

  • @kielrhys It all boils down to this quote by the Club of Rome (big globalist thinktank) in 1991, In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill."

This is going to be the largest loss of liberties, the largest transfer of wealth in HUMAN, HISTORY. We are going to be enslaved thanks to people like you who believe without question (though you think you don't)

  • @Stillwater900

If I produce my own energy, instead of depending on terror supporting governments or giant corporations - how does that enslave me?

If control of energy resources devolves away from centralized bureaucracies, government or industry, down to the county, community, small business, or individual level - How does that make me less free? It would seem I would then be more empowered, less dependent on forces beyond my control.

you have the dynamic of this change completely backwards.

  • @Stillwater900 have you ever questioned your believ about geting enslaved or the story you qouted?

  • @Aanthanur What do you mean have I ever questioned it? I suppose you have some evidence that the big brass of the world have it out for the little guy, that our government loves us?

  • For some bizarre reason, I literally cannot watch even a few seconds of "Lord" Monckton without superimposing the 'Monty Python Upperclass Twit of the Year' sketch. I wonder why that is.

  • For some bizarre reason, I literally cannot watch even a few seconds of "Lord" Monckton without superimposing the 'Monty Python Upperclass Twit of the Year' sketch. I wonder why that is.

  • It's an age-old trick. If you want to silence the opposition, you search for the worst crackpot the opposition has to offer, preferrably some independant loose cannon, and invite him/her for a debate. Success guaranteed !

  • @Stillwater900 your refusal to look at another point of view might be the reason you are spouting such ridiculous nonsense as a "tax on breathing."

You give more evidence to my premise that climate deniers simply are not in touch with reality.

  • @greenman3610 Okay then on cow farts, thats not the issue. We are allowing a very wealthy and clever group of people to tax every imaginable facet ov our lives, are you happy about the mass ammount of wealth thats going to the top? Here's a little gem from the Club of Rome, "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill." -- Club of Rome 1991

  • There is NOT a consensual treatment for cancer! There are entire INSTITUTES for alternative cancer treatment!!!

  • Carbon tax is a disgusting crime against Humanity. CO2 whether man-made or otherwise doesn't drive global climate, it never has, it never will, the Sun does...

The Great Global Warming Swindle [Full Film]

    watch?v=T8KgbUvsC_o

  • @Galv140577

The swindle movie has, of course, become an embarrassment to

all those involved. Perhaps you did not get that memo.

But thanks for bringing the subject of one of my most popular ids:

    watch?v=boj9ccV9htk

  • @Galv140577 Yeah, its clear that the temperature increases, and co2 FOLLOWS, not the other way around.

  • @Stillwater900

thanks for bringing up another popular canard. see the real info here.

    watch?v=8nrvrkVBt24

  • @Stillwater900 You should look up potholer54 vids on climate change. He explains and debunks booth some of AlGore vids and the climate "skeptic" position.

  • @Galv140577 CO2 doesn't drive global climate? Ever heard about the greenhouse effect? If it wasn't for CO2, the Earth's mean temperature would be -18ºC. But what do I know? I only research scientific propaganda, instead of the independent, unbiased science of climate skeptology as taught in conspiracy crackpot's blogs.

  • @Galv140577 Sure, the tax is a money grab. Do you really think it all comes down to one factor like the sun? You're a dumb-ass. There are almost always multiple factors affecting every event or occurrence of anything. Are you that simple? The sun, CO2, methane and other green house gasses are part of the problem. Co2 has a weak effect but it has an effect none the less. Methane is a lot worse( as a green house gas) and cows produce 300 liters of methane gas in a day. we're fucking up the earth!!

  • @Lesouder5555Nature My sources tell me that in the last decade the global temperature has dropped by 2 degrees celcius (westinstenv. org), & that atmospheric CO2 levels have gone up by 20ppm or 5% (physics. ucsd. edu). So in conclusion atmospheric CO2 does NOT drive climate. The temperature has gone down because of decreased solar activity from 100 sunspots down to 10 (www2. nict. go. jp). In conclusion the Sun is what drives climate.

The 20 year Ocean PDO is now shifting to 'cool mode'

  • @Galv140577 "My sources tell me". Crap. The link you provide says nothing of the sort. Try again.

Then, for fun, tell us what the change in solar radiation is for a change from "100 sunspots" to 10 sunspots.

Then, instead of counting sunspots, tell us what to make of *measured* Total Solar Irradiance (TSI); see tinyurl*com/4x896cc. Oops: TSI was constant (excluding the 11-year solar cycle) from 1978 to 2005, while global T went up about 0.4 C.

  • @541iceman ANYONE can do an internet search & get data on things like global temperature, Ocean PDO, Solar activity, atmospheric CO2, & reach the INEVITABLE conclusion that CO2 cannot possibly be what drives global climate, there are so many factors, & that at the very most it can be blamed for an absolute maximum of 10% of all climate change. All you are doing is recklessly endangering the world by giving the most evil disgusting despots ever to walk the Earth a fake excuse to tax us even more.

  • @Galv140577 Yes, anyone can get data from the web. But apparently that's not good enough for you; you have to lie about the data you get. Give me a link that actually shows the 2 C drop you claim you got from westinstenv org.

Then address (with data) the problem that T went up when solar didn't.

  • @Galv140577 where exactly are they claiming this? i can't find it on the source you gave.

  • @Aanthanur fuck off liar anyone can repeat the search & find the facts & prove you are a liar

  • @Galv140577 what the heck? i merely asked where exactly they claim this.... i was on their page and didn't find it, so i asked where exactly they claim it. i never claimed they did not claim it. i just wanted to know where exactly they claim this. what the heck is wrong with you?

  • @Aanthanur lol I found it by doing a series of google image searches to get graphic easy to read results. try looking up "global temperature 2000 to 2011", atmospheric CO2 levels 2000 to 2011", "sunspots 2000 to 2011", "ocean hot cold mode pdo", etc... & then find results that fit the relevant time period.

It's pretty conclusive that at the very most man made global warming cant possibly account for any more than 10% of climate change, it's irrefutably 90%-minimum Sun-driven no doubt whatsoever

  • @Galv140577 i know the sunspot claim, and that claim has been debunked over and over again. NASA is measuring the sun's output, and it is pretty constant cycles. and they can't explain the warming we observe. CO² does explain it.

  • @Aanthanur What warming? It's been cooling for over a decade you pathetic retard

  • @Galv140577 oh yeah the namecalling is very convincing..... but no, it isn't cooling.

  • @Aanthanur Well it depends how you look at it doesn't it. You can take any 2 reference points, or an average over any period, it all depends which period you look at & how. It also depends who's measurements you trust, those who have a vested interest in making a profit from carbon taxes, & those who don't. My sources tell me it's cooling & it's set to cool a lot more over the next 20 years.

  • @Galv140577 no, it doesn't really depend on how you look at it. what you do is denial, plain and simple.

  • @Aanthanur Oh really? Why 'man-made global warming' is anti-scientific nonsense. 1of4 watch?v=sOWtRoZZ6-k Why 'man-made global warming' is anti-scientific nonsense. 2of4 watch?v=A-s-C6od-1k Why 'man-made global warming' is anti-scientific nonsense. 3of4 watch?v=uTA_gFhMALQ Why 'man-made global warming' is anti-scientific nonsense. 4of4 watch?v=BCN-dP-C5Po ...Let me guess, you can find some small irrelevant detail that is incorrect in one of these videos which debunks them all. ;-)
  • @Galv140577 oh dear, bob talks about the MWP as if it were a global phenomena. what a dishonest twat.

    yes denial.

  • @Galv140577 Why are you stopping at only two sources. Do more research.

  • Now make a time machine, go back to the 80's and cure Freddie Mercury :D

  • So, in all honesty Global warming denial is a conspiracy theory, just like any conspiracy theory which alleges that a ruling elite is Lording over you for some advantageous reason, warranted or unwarranted.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield Nice trolling.

  • @widebody123

Oh, I guess I thought it was more "commenting" in brief paragraphic spurts. Please feel free to delete these comments if you feel they are spam of any form.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield AGW came to light in the 80's and is now as certain as the earth is round. The fake skeptic (denialist ) movement was founded by vested interests who saw the solutions as a threat to them getting richer (e.g Koch brothers). I think it is unhelpful to perpetuate the illusion of a 'debate' over this problem, when there is no debate amongst the knowledgeable.

  • @widebody123

Now you may very well be correct. But when anyone starts talking about "no debates" that's when I leave the room. Science is always debated, especially climate science which relies on models that vary to quite a degree from each other, and the proposed carbon emissions reduction scenarios which certainly warrant debate considering the economic ramifications they would produce. But if indeed there is no discussion involving opposing viewpoints among the top scientists -- Scary.

  • Now when it comes to the basic premise of the green house effect, our increased atmospheric C02, and a correlative warming in the past 100 years, I agree with you it is well accepted, but the degree to which this effect is occurring certainly has some different views among even the top IPCC scientists such as Richard Lindzen, Roy Spencer and the usually denialists who promote a flat earth.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield OK. Please accept my apologies for calling you a troll. I was wrong. My favorite webites on this subject are realclimate, skeptical science, and tamino.

  • @widebody123

Yeah no problem. My views are mailable on this matter. In 2007 when the IPCC had their 4th assessment report, and that summer the North Polar ice cap had reached it's greatest melting point ever recorded in a century, I truly thought to myself this is huge. I was fully convinced that AGW was real and of eminent concern to us all.

  • But then I started doing some research as to whether this ice cap has regressed to this level before, and I realized our satellite data only goes back some 30 to 40 years, and I did some news archive searches to find that there are indeed reports of the ice in the poles melting extensively in the summers of the early 1900's to about 1945, where ships could occasionally cruise with little to no ice via the NW passage, similar as what today's summers are becoming.

  • Of course, there is no real way to know without satellite data if the poles were ever as reduced of pack ice as they are nowadays. But anyways, this got me questioning the significance of the 2007 report to some degree but I never thought AGW was a political manipulation really, until Climate gate in 2009 which really did make me question some of the roots of Global warming science. So, before 2009 I pretty much had no problem with Global warming.

  • So, as a climate denier, I suppose I would prefer the term climate realist, or climate truther. Hmm that sounds like 9-11 truther, oh well. Just the same, I being a "climate truther" am as of yet unsure if the entire phenomenon of Global warming is an issue of importance which necessitates a major concern, or a minor one. I haven't yet been utterly convinced either way, but indeed leading more towards a skepticism of all claims towards alarm, mostly due to Climate Gate.

  • Now I will flip the coin. I see an equally alarming phenomenon of Big oil companies or coal industrialists paying scientists to search for no problem at all, and prove Global warming a hoax once and for all. These very interest groups may well have been what was behind the climate gate email hack. The Heartland Institute and others could be what is behind this.

  • We climate deniers sense that there has been an over all politically motivated cohesion of these unelected bureaucrats, and an as equally private or elect group of scientists who may or may not be paid to study a problem which may or may not be worth studying. We sense, perhaps without foundation, that some of these scientists could have manipulated data, or re-arranged data to fit a pattern of a perceived problem which must be swiftly solved by the very bureaucrats who commissioned them.

  • We associate the Global warming movement with the EU, United Nations, and the supra national heavy weights who annual attend the Bilderberg forums private meetings.

  • I think the fact that Gore made 300 million $ in these past 11 years is evidence the climate deniers like myself use to try and find fault with the whole origins of the science as a scam like Enron.

You see we Tax paying Americans have been had before, and we have the inescapable fear, sometimes rightly so, of being taken advantage of once again by rich business men and bankers of high influence. We, as in us Denialists associate the whole Global Warming Movement with rich bureaucrats.

  • So perhaps we, climate deniers should seperate Gore entirely from the debate. How about we indeed seperate all politicians, including Monckton from the debate.

  • The sad fact is, I actually would still believe in anthropogenic Global warming as the most important issue of our day, had Al Gore not been the brain child of the awareness movement, for as much as he gained attention to it, his cap and trade scheme and the idea he thought of with Ken Lay, he would make billions overnight.

But that could simply be Al's deal and have no indication the science is at fault.

  • I personally recommend no one eat meat processed in my country, the U.S.

Unless you killed it with your own hands, or it is fish caught fresh from the sea.

  • Or perhaps I am wrong and a Climate Denier broke in and "carefully" selected 10 years of emails, artfully constructing them in a chronological tapestry of goodness.

  • If he was a hereditary Lord in the old tradition, he can claim it as a title for ceremonial reasons if he wished. But if he is saying his is equally recognized as the actual Lords are, then yeah he is just re-emphasizing his showmanship.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield And anyone can claim they are a lawyer or a police officer if they want, too.

And there's nothing you anti-environmental fascists can do to stop us.

  • @mphello

I love the Environment. Did you know an estimated 99% of the old growth Douglas fir have been logged on Vancouver Island? That is a real environmental disaster. No more 300 to 400 foot fir trees to look at anymore. Deforestation of really ancient forest is something I really detest.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield Yeah - aaaand? Cherry-picking facts: this time not to disprove AGW - since your example is MORE reason to fight climate change - but to pretend that you "know" something more than I do?

Do you know that it's a fact that meat-eaters destroy 10X more crops than vegetarians, because all those crops are fed to pigs, chickens, cattle, which could instead go to feed people directly?

  • @mphello

I have heard that fact once or twice.

  • Lord Monckton is NOT a member of the house of lords. The clerk of the parliaments, David Beamish, made a point of making this clear on the UK parliament website, asking him to desist claiming it directly or by implication. He is a blatant charlatan (most entertaining though).

  • i have the cure for every disease and sickness... but it has very unwanted side effects

  • Holy shit was this guy THAT easy to catch off guard and desperate to change subject?

  • This guy needs to invent a cure for his face..

  • Fuck you Lord Borrington the Turd!

  • Delingpole refused to answer a straight-forward question...he gyrated around it like a pole dancer on crack and then immediately tried to steer the conversation away to something else. FUCK YOU, DELINGPOLE.

  • Monckton's cure is to hook two vacuum cleaner hoses to his eye sockets and leaving them in the "on position" for an hour each day. He says it also give your eyes that beautiful "goldfish" bulbous appeal as a pleasant side effect.

  • AGW-deniers are 1000X worse than child rapers.

Some people want child rape to be legal so they themselves can do it.

Some people want child rape to be legal because, even though they oppose it, they say it's a scientific issue (whether child rape hurts children) and hence should not be political.

Some people want child rape to be illegal (ban it).

But the "keep it legal"ers would bog down the banners forever, because to them "keep it legal" is the only "objective" position.

  • @mphello

I know you are exaggerating 1000X so I won't take you seriously.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield Glad it's mutual. Glad that nobody takes this buffoon Monckton seriously.

  • @mphello

Monckton is a complete class act. He is a showman and fruitfully fun to watch. However, he is fun to watch, and he might have some actual valid points to make.

  • @GarfoyleZanderfield He's a total joke, if that's what you mean: like a clown. Dr Benjamin Santer is a class act. Myles Allen Richard Alley Svante Arrhenius Phil Jones Michael Mann Gordon McBean Veerabhadran Ramanathan Stephen H. Schneider Inez Fung Joanna Haigh Jean Baptiste Joseph Fourier Edward Norton Lorenz potholer54 greenman3610 are class acts.
  • @mphello

He may indeed be a joke, but some of his points are of interest.

Oh you forgot to add mister travesty himself, Kevin Trenberth to the last of "actors" in your stage production. These actors are so confident in their work, a "whistle blower" within the team turned on them and released the climate gate emails via a Russian web server. It's like a game of clue -- who did it?

  • Why did the Australian Government had to Lie to get elected? do you support such leaders that lie to to public to put in the Carbon Tax Scam that you yourself are promoting?

  • I think when Delingpole said he was intellectually raped, he meant that he was fucked in the head.

I have to agree with him on that.

  • Wow, it's delicious to watch this little insect squirm under Nurse's thumb.

  • Paul Nurse isn't any old scientist. He's a Nobel

    laureate in medicine. Worth mentioning.

  • wow you really toe the official line, with regards to cancer , the doctor wanted to remove my mothers stomach , give chemo and radio treatment , we used a combination of o zone ,colloidal silver , vit b17 , d and bob becks blood electrification ( has a patent ,proved works ) and her tumor has shrunk to half her lymph glands have gone down and blood results good , next you,ll be saying fluoride isn't poisonous and hitler and stalin put in concentration camp water for dental health , LoL

  • Okay asshole, give yourself an intravenous injection of HIV infected blood or GTFO.

  • In other words, I should throw money at the cancer? Oh, that'll work hahaha

  • There is no cure for cancer. That's what is wrong with the "cancer" analogy. T

he other is the fact that Co2 isn't cancer, unless you are chicken little.

  • Average Global Temperatures SPIKED +0.6C (+1.08 degrees F) since 1975.

Summer Arctic Sea Ice has dropped -50% since 1980.

Since 1950 atmospheric CO2 has spiked +30% over highest levels for 400,000+ years.

CO2 Ocean Acidification is up +30% since 1900!

    Oops???

  • The cancer analogy isn't a good one. We have good evidence that smoking can cause cancer. We don't have 100% absolute proof, but we have good evidence.

We don't have good evidence that human's emissions are warming the planet to hell. No one is denying the greenhouse efffect, but the scientific "consensus" (I too believe that is a flawed statement) is that humans contribute *some* warming to the atmosphere. The extent of this warming and the implications for the environment are not settled.
