  • Partial connectivity could possibly be maintained somehow via old modem technology and CB or ham radio. A completely civilian-created internet is so in order right now.

  • damn, i could swear modern society is killing this nation. frankly this act cannot be passed, if so what will they do next? cut off phone lines? take off the inter? (which will apparently soon be happening), the government is stupid. and as from here on i could only imagine what good ol' usa will be in the next 10 years or so.

  • Google "Barry Soetoro."

We're in big trouble with this guy.

  • Great topic to think about!

We'll probably see this happen soon..

  • BBS'es were used 20 years ago. (Bulletin Board Systems)

A Bulletin Board System, or BBS, is a computer system running software that allows users to connect and log in to the system using a terminal program. Once logged in, a user can perform functions such as uploading and downloading software and data, reading news and bulletins, and exchanging messages with other users, either through electronic mail or in public message boards.

  • phone lines are everywhere, so long as they are intact there must be ways of communicating. there are also ham radio towers. knowing who to trust and who would need the information most is important in effectively disseminating information, whether through leaflets, code/stealth or other creative ideas.

  • I would use a weather balloon and stuff it full of your flyers and fill it with helium.... Then set it free with a mechanism to drop the flyers at around 36000 feet and let Liberty spread....

  • The paranoia never ends.

What if the Government seizes all paper and ink supplies and makes printing impossible?

    What if they outlaw speaking?

What if they herd the entire population of the US into one huge concentration camp?

What if they use a new type of mind reader that isn't deflected by tinfoil hats?

COME ON SHEEPLE - WAKE UP TO WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND YOU.

  • Radio broadcast on regular AM & FM band frequencies. Shortwave and CB is all well and good, but most people don't have the equipment. You need a portable transmitter, as both the act of transmitting and probably your message will go against some government "regulation". You will not get 100-mile range, shoot for 5-10 miles, post frequencies and schedules on poles and in public places within your area.

Buy a cheap B&W laser printer for cash, stow it away with a couple cartridges just in case.

  • Information networking, group meetings, and public displays(handouts and signs)

  • BURN DVDS!

  • I think you mean white rose society not black rose society.

In a situation such as this, the FSP really shines, all you have to do is talk to your neighbor.

  • I'LL USE A MESSAGE DOVE

  • Yea like people will leave there ideals when we got agents causing us to argue all over the internet causing disconfert and making it harder to unit. People stop arguing with these people we need to communicate and organize while we can. We dont need to debate our ideals so much as we need to come together.

  • Well its not for me maybe its my computer. I will try later. Thanks

  • Shut up p00lman we can talk about whatever we want!! If you dont like it go watch some fucking tv or something. Is this video working for anyone?

  • Why wont this load?!?!!!

  • It's loading fine for me.

  • I think most people ignore the troll that is p00lman. Except for me. I think he is adorable. I want him to clean a p00l so I can watch his mad p00l cleaning skillz. Mad props, dawg.

  • if the internet got shut down,i'd go out wearing my obama zombie t shirt. mindrapeart com

  • @p00lman your subjective perspective is an opinion..

You say "societal social outcasts", just what is your definition of "normal" since there is no such thing.

"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society."

  • @p00lman YES..your subjective perspective is an opinion.. -I understand the internet scenario is completely hypothetical-

However, my response was regarding your Opinion of "societal social outcasts" which looks like false labeling and stereotyping of Individuals according to your, holier than thou, "societal standards"

  • Spread from the top of your lungs.

  • I live in a small town. Information seems to flow around here in an almost miraculously quick manner.

The pubs and the churches, the schools and the parks.

That's where I would go to hear or disseminate information.

  • keep the faith and just lay low while spreading the word as much as possible, just be smart, you are no good to anyone in a jail or internment center

  • Wow Dave... amazingly enough, I have been protesting since the latter part of the Vietnam war...yeah I was all of 14 yrs old.

I have really never even given a thought as to how I knew when and where to go. Yet, we rented a UHAUL truck and filled it full of people and drove to Boston Commons.. That alone gives me hope that "someone" will be running information in a crisis.

  • Maybe you should've given your life some thought.

  • Great points! I like the shortwave idea unless the Feds us an EMP device, which they in fact use.

EMP is Electro-Magnetic-Pulse (they used one in the Oceans 12 movie).

If they use that, it will ruin all electronics (at least temporarily) and ruin most cars.

  • Well me and the network engineers at BroadBandReports(Dot)com were talking about what WE would do if anything happened to the internet.

(Besides using our CB radios) most of the ideas we have involve ignoring FCC regulations and adding amplifiers to our Wi-Fi routers to beef up the antenna signal far past 1000 feet (2+ miles is possible, assuming that the other router has an amplifier too).

  • in order to establish a sort of MESH chain network of Wi-Fi routers, and connecting each router to another (as if the router was acting as a signal repeater) the more people with amplified routers contributed to the network...the larger the network gets, the larger our own internet will be.

  • No Internet? Well, you could get the message out via graffiti, stickers, non-stop and unrelenting, on over-passes, ATM's, everywhere viral. You remember the guy with the rainbow wig that showed up at major televised sporting events. The point is a determined message is hard to kill and only get's stronger and wider when attacked.

  • 1. Marine Band hand radios. Not legal in the thugs system but who really cares about that crap? They have quite a transmit/receive distance and can certainly be used to intercept the evil "authorities". FMRS/GMRS radios (powerful ones) are good second but repeating and speaking in code is probably good.

    2. SAFE HOUSES for storage of materials AND people.

    3. Samsung printers are not traceable as others as they do not use tracking codes (only Samsung doesn't do that).

  • carrier pidgeons.. seriously get creative

  • @nicko978 i don't know if it will work, but i like the idea

  • honestly i dont either. It was just the first thing that popped in my mind, while thinking of the leaflets. I think un-isolating ourselves from our neighbors, getting involved with the town hall meetings, and public or private social events are a great way to keep information flowing.

  • yeah the key is information, but if they start to regulate free speech more than they already have like in public places such as colleges, well schools in general, maybe public places are on the list... i was disliked in my comment above cuz i said to lay low and spread the word so who knows...lol and creating relationships with nieghbors and your community is a good way to keep liberty alivem but what if no one wants to listen...

  • Can you imagine the internet being shut off? Most americans own guns and millions are addicted to the internet (World Of Warcraft and other online games, videos ect). They would go crazy outside with their guns

  • shortwave!

  • 9/11 was an inside job.

  • We need to be the change we want to see in the world.

We need to walk the talk.

Talk doesn't work because most are not ready to hear.

But if we live our principles, some, who are ready, will inquire.

But living our principles is VERY hard.

  • It's very good thinking to plan for the worse as you are!!

Is there not something in the Constitution for when the government becomes too corrupt? (Attacking ourself @

Murrah & 911 is a little over the top.)

o Telephone lines, computers and auto-dial lists should help get info out.

o Telephone trees to key ppl

o Answering machines with outgoing messages

o Using the FAX ports on PCs to receive/send faxes

    o Create FAX lists NOW

  • Shortwave radio... Someone like Ridley could broadcast at certain times...

Also, I think there are some actual Receiver/Transmitters that could interface with computers... albeit not broadband speeds...

    Google: 1NyC2MYZodY

  • The day they intentionally shut down the internet is probably the same day that we stop whining and start shooting the bastards. I know that most people find this idea abhorrent, as do I. I get the non-violent protest thing.

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

  • No justice, no peace.

  • Wow not sure what I'd "do" maybe it's time to disband and hide, let them destroy themselves and then back populate the planet with the remaining surviving "us" whatever that is defined as ..... I mean it seems like that might be the logical conclusion of what is happening maybe we should in-brace the coming carnage... not sure, but the sooner the collapse comes maybe the better, sort of like a weird act of nature culling the herd... thru a form of stupid natural selection...:-)

  • TV as screwed many people up. It is pretty sad. Pretty sad that people do not get this.

  • Many go to work and live in cubes all day long, playing on computers, but for some reason the cant bring that relation to home, when interacting with people online through these types of websites. What do I need to do to get many of you to realize this?

  • @SSILENTNATION But hey now, here your al talking about keeping freedom on the net, and you come to trash what I am doing, wanting to take away my freedom. So be it, shot your selfs in the foot, like many of you always do.

  • Thanks. I see you are angry so I won't get into it with you but why did you feel you had to lie before about knowing who I was? That isn't good. You don't have to do that around me. My life is an open (boring) book. I'm curious, why do you say my wife ought to be afraid of me? No need for any SSN, but thanks for offering. You are a funny guy when you try. Thanks again for responding, again. I hope you have a great night and stay warm! I'm off to take the dog for a walk (limp).

  • @LumpyRevolution Me angry? It would seem your skills at projection are as sharp as your propensity to get arrested. I have no idea what you think I ever lied about before knowing who you were - I guessed...you confirmed. Take care of that dog's limp.

  • Lumpy was and is right. You are an angry and aggressive individual. I'm sorry but he has been nice to you all along. Please do something to feel better about yourself rather than repeatedly spew awful things. I've watched all your awful comments because I read all of these and admire the character and attitude of people like LumpyRevolution... people who are trouble makers towards other people who are really on the same page are destroyers of anything good and worthwhile. Lighten up please.

  • ... angry, sad and angry boy.

  • Yes... I give him a badge of courage for standing up to the true enemy. It doesn't give me anything but happiness, to see a true hero in action.

So, besides being miserable, what do you do to stand up for liberty?

  • Curious to know why you are truly so unhappy and how somebody like you thinks is all. I too have been in over seventy countries so I understand what we are dealing with pretty well. You seem to think complaining at the keyboard helps liberty, is that correct? I won't likely entertain you for long as I see that you are a government educated (indoctrinated) and simple minded individual, no disrespect intended, I just find you dull and negative. Perhaps you ought to focus on your spirituality.

  • You really can not hear yourself can you? Interesting. Thanks for continuing to come back to chat. I'm no "Free Stater" but I've come to agree on nearly every issue, but then again I'm not arrogant enough to assume I know everything, unlike some more rude individuals such as you act... notice I didn't say "you are". I think there is hope for you too. Peace to you, obviously young, person.

  • Oh yes, you are winning. Here is a big prize for all your efforts!

  • Yes, a sad soul. Good morning and Merry Christmas! Long time no see here!

  • Indeed a sad case. Good morning to you and yours as well. Merry Christmas to you too!

I hear it is very cols there today! Chilly here too at 50 this morning. I'm still thinking of moving this year if I can get two more of the grandchildren to agree... not an easy task, but hubby is excited! I'm ready to quit working for the enemy at a moment's notice, they want to send me back to Madagascar but I'm so tired of traveling. "Royalty" is so overrated... bah humbug!

  • Say brother. if you want help getting over your ills feel free to PM me and I'm more than willing to help. You aren't that unique that you can't get help from even me. Peace and Merry Christmas

  • Sad boy. Very sad boy.

  • =) I'm not sad! ... I'm HAPPY! =P

  • Things didn't turn out as planned on here did it?

  • Ummm....take whatever glory you think you want to take. You are very weird... and troubled. I never try to make anyhting turn out any way; I leave it up to others to step whatever way they want to show the world what they are made of. You may feel free to continue with this conversation, but you bore me, so I'm going back to real and far better life than chatting with an ignoramus. Have a great life!

  • "I never try to make anything turn out any way; I leave it up to others - to show the world what they are made of " -

Just so I'm clear - it was you that started writing to me correct? Something about leaving poor little Kurt alone? LOL. You keep threatening to end this brilliant convo you're a part of - yet continually seem attracted to the reply button. Lets just see if you follow through with it this time.

  • Are you retarded? That video has absolutely nothing to do with what Ridley's talking about. Setting up a wireless hub is NOT creating a global network which devices several thousand miles away can communicate on.

  • @TehBANN3D Clearly you did not listen, he did say to put your suggestions in the comments below. That is my suggestion to help you guys keep the internet free and much more. What to lazy to go out and buy a cheap access point and share with people?

  • And? That suggestion has nothing to do with what he was asking about. If the internet was blacked out, creating a local access point wouldn't mater.

Also, you're right, I must be lazy if I don't want people leeching off my network.

  • @TehBANN3D You guys do not need just Youtube. Get a clue. Man many of you people are to addicted and obsessed over this site.

  • store ur stuff in harddrives

  • Use wireless networks. Bridge your connections ladies and gentlemen.

  • My approach to spreading the massage of freedom is to write songs, and talk openly with people about what liberty means to me. It may not create the kind of volume of awareness that is needed, but it does leave a lasting impression! I'd like to see more awareness regarding what freedom actually is. I'm not even sure of that any more!

  • Dave,

    Great topic.

Some of the things we are developing for this purpose my be of interest to you.

We are looking at a network of small FM transmitters and a network of Ham radios.

The "we" I refer to are at thesurvivalpodcast (dot) com/forum/index (dot) php

You should give us a look. We have members who are Freestaters.

  • if they take away our internet do we in turn take their's away..? they can tell you and I we can't have internet access all the while a building down the road is using the internet for their business.. what's good for the goose is good for the gooser.. we'll all get along, or we won't..

  • THE GOVERNMENT BETTER NOT TAKE AWAY MY HENTAl !!!!!
