Sounds very uninspired. There are so many releases this year and they come out with a mediocre album like this. I think I pass.

Dreamtale - Epsilon, ReinXeed - 1912, Symfonia - In Paradisium, Falconer - Armod, Stratovarius - Elysium, Solar Fragment - In Our Hands, Vexillum - The Wandering Notes, Crimsonwind - The Wings Of Salvation, etc, etc.

Why should I buy this album when I wait for Pandaemonium's, Dragonland's and especially Celesty's newest album which are my most anticipated this year.

@TheGoldenPS1 I kinda agree. It's still a great album if you're like me and you love power metal. But this sounds more like The Frozen Tears of Angels 2 than a brand new album. To me, all their other albums each had its own unique sound.

@theFFVIguy It's not only Rhapsody of Fire I'm disappointed at. Stormwarrior didn't live up to my expectations either. Heathen Warrior is an terrible album while Wizard blew me away with their newest album. You're looking forward to Powerwolf's Blood of the Saints? I have recently bought Alestorm's Back Through Time and Týr - The Lay Of Thrym as special editions from Napalm Records and they are amazing! Hopefully, Ensiferum will release a new album this fall.

I'm not sure I dig this song. Some of these parts are just a bit too cheesy. I know it's Rhapsody but most of the time they dance effortlessly on the edge of overkill. I hope the rest of the album has some less hilarious and more serious parts.

@DarthPietrus They mean this is the last album that is part of the story that started with Legendary Tales. Plus, they recently recruited a new member (Tom Hess). If they were quitting, I doubt they'd go this far to recruit another band member.

@DarthPietrus All albums released till now are part of one big story (Tales of the Enchanted Lands), divided into two sagas: the Emerald Sword Saga and the Dark Secret Saga.

What they'll be doing after that is unclear, but I don't think they'll abandon the fantasy element from their music. Maybe Luca will simply write smaller, unrelated stories from now on, maybe he'll do something else with the band. Either way, I'm sure he'll fill us in on the band's future eventually.

@FazSaber about 90% sure he doesnt. They've had a lot of guest performances, even some for screaming in the past. Would be weird if he suddenly learned how to. Also, a person's clean vocals are very relateble to his screaming, and Fabio's don't match the screaming part.

Still leaves a small possibility tho.

@nahing No, you can clearly hear his voice as the one one doing the screaming. He did it with Thunders Mighty Roar and I think When Demons Awake, he also did the screaming on Reign of Terror I believe.

He can sing like this since Potd, in "When demons awake", he also sing like this in "Thunder Mighty roar", "The Mystic Prophecy of the Demon Knight", and of course, "Reing of Terror", and also, in "the killing speed of time" of Vision Divine. So you see, it's not the first time :D. And Luca has confirmed this fact in a lot of interviews.
