  • This isn't Choctaw ceremonial dancing. It is of the plains people. A stereotype that all indians are plains people. The Choctaws are from the southeastern part of the U.S. and are part of the stomp dance culture of the five tribes. Muscogee Creek, Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Seminole. Ceremonial dancing is completely different from the plains people.

  • I am full blooded CHOCTAW and it's great to see the dancer, hear the drum and singing. Recently I joined a drum group here in San Francisco. One day maybe I'll dance too.
