Streptococcus seems to be pretty vicious this year. I watched the same thing happen to my cousin. In 14 hours, she went from an itchy throat to 104 in the emergency room, not being able to swallow. It was pretty awful. I'm glad to see your feeling better. Your previous video was pretty scary. May God grant you good health. God's blessings always! :)
Please excuse me, but there is something i forgot to mention. My little Cuz' had similar swelling that was related exclusively to the strep infection( for her, it was under the eyes). She looked like a boxer for 3 days! No joke! Regardless, I hope Your feeling better.

Wow, strep-throat..that was the neck/throat pain. It seems like that pain-killer broke down your immune system- perhaps dryed up the mucosa in your throat- leaving it vulnerable- dont forget your acidophilus, and vitamin C!

I am so glad that you found out what was happening. I agree about being broken - it has brought me much much closer to God. I understand Muscular skeletal pain... suffer daily with it. As you know I was on a great deal of medication to get through the day, but once I chose to accept Christ in my life, I still have pain meds but nothing compared to how I use to live.

Glad you're feeling better, VK! I didn't know you were sick! I recently discovered I have a condition called "trigger finger" in the third finger of my right hand. It won't allow me to close the fingers on my right hand without the third finger locking into place. I then have to pry it open with my left hand which is really painful. Not sure what I'm going to do about it, but I don't fancy an operation. So far it hasn't effected my guitar playing.
WOW strep throat!.. I had a horrible bout of it a few months back where I had open wounds in my mouth(tongue, gums etc.) Was not able to eat for a week and I agree with you. When we are broken he can use us greatly. I am so happy you are okay. right when I saw your video I got on my knees and I know that He heard. So glad you're on the mend!! Keep on keeping on sister.

I took my son in 3 days ago for strep throat. He has been miserable but is starting to feel better after the 3 days of antibiotics. Glad your recovering.

Just like you, I too, have many physical limitations, but this is how the Lord got me to submit to His calling to enter the ministry.

Thanks for giving us an update. I am sure the spider bite combined with the strep was pure misery. You really look like you still need to rest. You really had me concerned. I am still keeping you in prayer as I always have :o) (((HUGS))) my dear sister.

I took my son in 3 days ago for strep throat. He has been miserable but is starting to feel better after the 3 days of antibiotics. Glad your recovering.

I was just thinking about you and when I logged in, there you were; first video on my list. I praise God for answered prayer and I wholeheartidly agree with you about how the Lord uses illness in our lives. Just like you, I too, have many physical limitations, but this is how the Lord got me to submit to His calling to enter the ministry.
Anyway, VK, I am very glad to see that you are up and around and I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

I too understand why you say a broken person will become more reliable on God.
God used the worst moments to draw myself unto Him and I finally got to know the one true Lord!
