It's not a race. This is a public track with all sorts of cars and bikes with all types of riders and drivers from the slow to the very fast. It is also a very dangerous track with armco lining the circuit. Not a place to be a hero or a dickhead. GT3s and R1's don't grow on trees. Nor do lives. Nobody in their right mind would drive or ride at more than 9/10ths.
Not impressed with the riders aggression. His/her average speed seemed around 200+Kph, a good 100 below capability. Also, all that blurb at the start about horsepower? An average supersports bike has a MUCH greater power to weight ratio that 99.9% of all road cars. With certain exceptions.

It's not a race. This is a public track with all sorts of cars and bikes with all types of riders and drivers from the slow to the very fast. It is also a very dangerous track with armco lining the circuit. Not a place to be a hero or a dickhead. GT3s and R1's don't grow on trees. Nor do lives. Nobody in their right mind would drive or ride at more than 9/10ths.

Not impressed with the riders aggression. His/her average speed seemed around 200+Kph, a good 100 below capability. Also, all that blurb at the start about horsepower? An average supersports bike has a MUCH greater power to weight ratio that 99.9% of all road cars. With certain exceptions.

Bullshit video. When the 'race' started, the R1 didn't even try to pass him. Watch the weak acceleration. I guess these were just 2 buddies havin fun. Not a race at all.

Yeah, if you look at the video the bike isn't even trying to accelerate hard (can't beat a car off the line? What?!) and the line on the corners is conservative. He comes out of corners in the middle of the road instead of on the other side...so his cornering speed isn't what it could be.
