Know what's weird, I'm from South Africa (born and bred) and I expected my mom to be more understanding from the beginning about me going natural. I'm 8 months into my locs journey and its only now that my mom is getting used to my locs. I'm still at the awkward short loc stage but I have no regrets what so ever. She was also woried about me being in a relationship with my locs and it hasn't been a problem. I spoke to my boyfriend and his been truly supporive of my change. Thanks. Say hi to mom!
