Scale isn't simply measured by length. It's measured in correlation to volume percentage (basically, how much space it would take up). Lets say the real-life Grave Digger was 16 x 12 x 11 ft (roughly the real dimensions). That would equate to 2112 cu ft. A scale model at roughly 4 x 3.5 x 3.25 ft would take up only 45.5 cu ft. Only around 1/46th of the volume.

Sorry rcWizzard but, regardless of width/length/whatever, that is NOT a 1/4 scale model. Not even close.

@Tuminatuh Actually (feeling kind of stupid), I wasn't aware that the model scale system uses a much simpler equation (A/100 x mS/%). The equation I used is called the Cubic Log Scale and measures condensed volumes. Model scaling is not based on log volume (basically, how much total space it consumes).

Sorry for the mix-up.... kinda embarrassed I didn't check to see if there was a difference. Models aren't exactly my thing.

So, yeah, it would be around 1/4 scale.

@rcWizzard I was going by the tires. If you stacked 4 of those tires one on top of the other would it equal the height of 1 real gravedigger tire? I think it would take many more than 4. It looks about the size of a 1/8 gasoline dunebuggy and a dunebuggy is smaller than a monster truck, that was my logic in guestimation. Meant no offense.
