The reason he's not mentioned is because the first two shorts didn't have Tigger.

Of course,the short "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too!",which was released in 1974,gave birth to Tigger as the Pooh character we now know and love.

They're coming out with a Winnie the Pooh movie in September! Im 16 and Im actually really excited, this was my entire childhood! :D They're using the original Pooh Bear for the movie and all the characters sound generally the same, the only voices I noticed were different were Owl's and Christopher Robin's but Christopher Robin is younger in the movie so its okay that his voice is a bit higher. :) I'm so excited and I actually really want to go see it! :D

I miss this! I still have my old Pooh Bear toys from when I was younger, I still have all the old movies as well as all my old Disney movies. Most of my friends got rid of theirs but my kids will be watching the old Winnie the Pooh and the original Pokemon. None of this stuff they have now. :)

Oddly I was singing this during class yesterday out of random to the exact words. So i decided to look it up and found out that its the Winnie the Pooh theme song. Oh how I miss those days laying in bed having my mother read me the book and then when the movie came out I watched it every night until I was 6. But instead of the wonderful classic, we have that stupid girl who thinks shes a detective! Well at least Winnie the Pooh will never die out. I hate Disney Movies now. I loved the originals.

As much as i absoloutly love Winnie the Pooh, i hate what Disney have done to it.

The drawings in the books are gorgeous, full of subtlty. And very simplistic in layout.

The etching type style suits the books down to a T, very low key.

These drawings by Disney are all gawdy, and quite ugly in some places...As animation in the 60s was good, especially by Disney standards, it can't hold a candle up to the Ernest Howard Shepard drawings.
