@pezzyy99 Peterson, a tragic twist of fate, lost his life right on the track that had seen the triumph of 3 times, and finish second behind Gethin in 1971 for a few thousandths of a second. Anyone who loves F1 can not forget about Ronnie!

in my country until 1977 tv & grand prix are b&w.I'm truly amazed watching today color videos of what I remember in b&w:)) Peterson, -Lotus JPS- was the winner; helas,both Ferrari,Lauda N12 car,(starting pole pos.) & Regazzoni N11 car stopped. Note at 3:36 Regazzoni enter the amazing crowded pitlane; note also at the end of video Fittipaldi N5 chasing Peterson.

@patsematary I remember VERY vividly pulling like hell for Emerson. I watched in frustration as he closed in at the curves and Ronnie pulled away at the straights. To my 9 year old eyes, it seemed logical the Lotus was more aerodynamic than the blocky-looking McLaren. Good thing Emmo ended up not needing those 3 extra points.
